Surah 7, ayah 147

وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
كَذَّبُوْاجنہوں نے جھٹلایا
بِاٰیٰتِنَاہماری نشانیوں کو
وَلِقَآءِاور ملاقات کو
الْاٰخِرَةِآخرت کی
حَبِطَتْضائع ہوگئے
اَعْمَالُهُمْ ؕان کے اعمال
هَلْکیا
یُجْزَوْنَوہ جزا پاسکتے ہیں
اِلَّاسوائے
مَااس کے جو
كَانُوْاتھے وہ
یَعْمَلُوْنَوہ کرتے رہے
۟۠

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جو لوگ بھی جھٹلائیں گے ہماری آیات کو اور آخرت کی ملاقات کو ان کے اعمال ضائع ہوجائیں گے اور ان کو نہیں دیا جائے گا بدلے میں مگر وہی کچھ جو وہ کرتے رہے تھے

Commentary

آیت 147 وَالَّذِیْنَ کَذَّبُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ الْاٰخِرَۃِ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُہُمْ ط۔ ایسے لوگ اپنے تئیں بڑی بڑی نیکیاں کمار ہے ہوں گے ‘ مگر اللہ کے ہاں ان کی ان نیکیوں کا کوئی صلہ نہیں ہوگا۔ جیسا کہ قریش مکہ خود کو خادمین کعبہ سمجھتے تھے ‘ وہ کعبہ کی صفائی اور ستھرائی کا خصوصی اہتمام کرتے ‘ حاجیوں کی خدمت کرتے ‘ ان کے لیے دودھ اور پانی کی سبیلیں لگاتے ‘ مگر محمد رسول اللہ ﷺ کی دعوت پر ایمان لائے بغیر ان کے ان سارے اعمال کی اللہ کے نزدیک کوئی اہمیت نہیں تھی۔
