- سَاَصْرِفُعنقریب میں پھیر دوں گا
- عَنْسے
- اٰیٰتِیَاپنی نشانیوں
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
- یَتَكَبَّرُوْنَجو تکبر کرتے ہیں
- فِیمیں
- الْاَرْضِزمین
- بِغَیْرِنا
- الْحَقِّ ؕحق
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- یَّرَوْاوہ دیکھیں
- كُلَّہر
- اٰیَةٍنشانی
- لَّانہیں
- یُؤْمِنُوْاوہ ایمان لائیں گے
- بِهَا ۚساتھ اس کے
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- یَّرَوْاوہ دیکھیں
- سَبِیْلَراستہ
- الرُّشْدِہدایت کا
- لَانہیں
- یَتَّخِذُوْهُبنائیں گے اس کو
- سَبِیْلًا ۚراستہ
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- یَّرَوْاوہ دیکھیں

- الْغَیِّگمراہی کا

- بِاٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات کو
- وَكَانُوْااور تھے وہ
- عَنْهَاان سے
- غٰفِلِیْنَغافل۔ بےپرواہ

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
میں اپنی نشانیوں سے اُن لوگوں کی نگاہیں پھیر دوں گا جو بغیر کِسی حق کے زمین میں بڑے بنتے ہیں1، وہ خواہ کوئی نشانی دیکھ لیں کبھی اس پر ایمان نہ لائیں گے ، اگر سیدھا راستہ اُن کے سامنے آئے تو اسے اختیار نہ کریں گے اور اگر ٹیڑھا راستہ نظر آئے تو اس پر چل پڑیں گے، اس لیے کہ اُنہوں نے ہماری نشانیوں کو جھُٹلا یا اور ان سے بے پروائی کرتے رہے

یعنی میرا قانونِ فطرت یہی ہے کہ ایسے لوگ کسی عبرت ناک چیز سے عبرت اور کسی سبق آموز شے سے سبق حاصل نہیں کر سکتے۔ ”بڑا بننا“یا ”تکبّر کرنا“ قرآن مجید اس معنی میں استعمال کرتا ہے کہ بندہ اپنے آپ کو بندگی کے مقام سے بالا تر سمجھنے لگے اور خدا کے احکام کی کچھ پروا نہ کرے، اور ایسا طرزِ عمل اختیار کرے گویا کہ وہ نہ خدا کا بندہ ہے اور نہ خدا اس کا رب ہے۔ اس خود سری کی کوئی حقیقت ایک پندار غلط کے سوا نہیں ہے ، کیونکہ خدا کی زمین میں رہتے ہوئے ایک بندے کو کسی طرح یہ حق پہنچتا ہی نہیں کہ غیر بندہ بن کر رہے۔ اسی لیے فرمایا کہ ”وہ بغیر کسی حق کے زمین میں بڑے بنتے ہیں۔“
