- فَاهْبِطْپس اتر جا
- مِنْهَااس سے
- فَمَاتو نہیں
- یَكُوْنُہے
- لَكَتیرے لئے
- اَنْیہ کہ
- تَتَكَبَّرَتو تکبر کرے
- فِیْهَااس میں
- فَاخْرُجْپس نکل جا
- اِنَّكَبیشک تو
- مِنَسے
- الصّٰغِرِیْنَذلیل ہونے والوں میں سے ہے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
فرمایا ، ”اچھا، تو یہاں سے نیچے اُتر۔ تجھے حق نہیں ہے کہ یہاں بڑائی کا گھمنڈ کرے۔ نکل جا کہ درحقیقت تُو اُن لوگوں میں سے ہے جو اپنی ذلّت چاہتے ہیں۔“1

اصل میں لفظ صاغیرین استعمال ہوا ہے۔ صاغر کے معنی ہیں الراضی بالذُّل، یعنی وہ جو ذلت اور صفا را در چھوٹی حیثیت کوخود اختیار کرے۔ پس اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ بندہ اور مخلوق ہونے کے باوجود تیرا اپنی بڑائی کے گھمنڈ میں مبتلا ہونا اور اپنے رب کےحکم سے اس بنا پر سر تابی کرنا کہ اپنی عزّت و بر تری کا جو تصوّر تو نے خو د قائم کر لیا ہے اس کے لحاظ سے وہ حکم تجھے اپنے لیے موجب توہین نظر آتا ہے ، یہ دراصل یہ معنی رکھتا ہے کہ تو خود اپنی ذلت چاہتا ہے۔بڑائی کا جھوٹا پندار، عزت کا بے بنیا د اِدعا ، اور کسی ذاتی استحقاق کے بغیر اپنے آپ کو خواہ مخواہ بزرگی کےمنصب پر فائز سمجھ بیٹھنا، تجھے بڑا ور ذی عزت اور بزرگ نہیں بنا سکتا بلکہ یہ تجھے چھوٹا اور ذلیل اور پست ہی بنا ئے گا اور اپنی اس ذلّت و خواری کا سبب تو آپ ہی ہو گا۔
