آیت 134 وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُوْا یٰمُوْسَی ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّکَ بِمَا عَہِدَ عِنْدَکَ ج۔ لَءِنْ کَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَکَ اگر تم نے ہم سے اس عذاب کو ہٹا دیا تو ہم لازماً تمہاری بات مان لیں گے آمَنَ کے ساتھ جب ل کا صلہ آتا ہے جیسے لَکَ تو اس سے مراد عقیدہ والا ایمان نہیں ہوتا ‘ بلکہ اس طرح کسی کی بات کو سرسری انداز میں ماننے کے معنی پیدا ہوجاتے ہیں۔ لہٰذا لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَکَ کا مطلب ہے کہ ہم لازماً تمہاری بات مان لیں گے۔ لیکن اس کے ساتھ جب ب کا صلہ آئے ‘ جیسا کہ آمَنْتُ باللّٰہِ وَمَلآءِکَتِہٖ وَکُتُبِہٖ میں ہے تو اس کے معنی پورے وثوق ‘ یقین اور گہرے اعتماد کے ساتھ ماننے کے ہوتے ہیں ‘ یعنی ایمان لانا۔وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَکَ بَنِیْٓ اِسْرَآءِ یْلَ مصر میں بنی اسرائیل کی حیثیت حکمران خاندان کے غلاموں کی سی تھی۔ فراعنہ ان سے مشکل اور بھاری کام بیگار میں کرواتے تھے۔ اہرام مصر کی تعمیر کے دوران نہ جانے کتنے ہزار اسرائیلی اس بےرحم مشقت کے سبب جان سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھے اور ان کی ہڈیاں اہرام مصر کی بنیادوں میں دفن ہوگئیں۔ اہراموں کی تعمیر کے دوران سینکڑوں من وزنی چٹانیں اوپر کھینچی جاتی تھیں۔ اس دوران اگر کوئی چٹان نیچے گر جاتی تو اس کے نیچے سینکڑوں اسرائیلی پس جاتے۔ چونکہ وہ لوگ فرعون کے مفت کے کارندے تھے لہٰذا وہ ان کو آسانی سے چھوڑنے والا نہیں تھا۔ لیکن ان آیات سے پتا چلتا ہے کہ یکے بعد دیگرے آنے والے عذاب سہہ سہہ کر فرعون اور اس کے امراء کا غرور وتکبر کچھ کم ہوا تھا۔ چناچہ جب وہ لوگ زیادہ عاجز آجاتے تھے تو حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے یہ وعدہ بھی کرتے تھے کہ اگر یہ مصیبت ٹل جائے تو ہم آپ علیہ السلام کی بات مان لیں گے اور آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم کو آپ علیہ السلام کے ساتھ بھیج دیں گے۔
