Tafheem-ul-Quran
میرا منصب یہی ہے کہ اللہ کا نام لے کر کوئی بات حق کے سوا نہ کہوں، میں تم لوگوں کے پاس تمہارے ربّ کی طرف سے صریح دلیلِ ماموریّت لے کر آیا ہوں، لہٰذا تُو بنی اسرائیل کو میرے ساتھ بھیج دے۔“1

حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام دو چیزوں کی دعوت لے کر فرعون کے پاس بھیجے گئے تھے ۔ ایک یہ کہ وہ اللہ کی بندگی (اسلام)قبول کرے، دوسرے یہ کہ بنی اسرائیل کی قوم کو جو پہلے سے مسلمان تھی اپنے پنجہ ظلم سے رہا کر دے۔ قرآن میں ان دونوں دعوتوں کا کہیں یکجا ذکر کیا گیا ہے اور کہیں مقوع و محل کے لحاظ سے صرف ایک ہی کے بیان پر اکتفا کیا گیا ہے۔
