Bayan-ul-Quran
تو کیا ان لوگوں کو سبق نہیں ملا جو زمین کے وارث ہوئے ہیں اس کے پہلے رہنے والوں کے (ہلاک ہونے کے) بعد کہ ہم چاہیں تو ان کو بھی پکڑ لیں ان کے گناہوں کی پاداش میں ! اور ہم ان کے دلوں پر مہر کردیا کرتے ہیں پھر وہ کچھ سنتے ہی نہیں

آیت 100 اَوَلَمْ یَہْدِ لِلَّذِیْنَ یَرِثُوْنَ الْاَرْضَ مِنْم بَعْدِ اَہْلِہَآ اَنْ لَّوْ نَشَآءُ اَصَبْنٰہُمْ بِذُنُوْبِہِمْ ج کیا بعد میں آنے والی قوم نے اپنی پیش رو قوم کی تباہی و بربادی سے کوئی سبق حاصل نہیں کیا ؟ قوم عاد نے کیوں کوئی سبق نہیں سیکھا قوم نوح کے عذاب سے ؟ اور قوم ثمود نے کیوں عبرت نہیں پکڑی قوم عاد کی بربادی سے ؟ ‘ اور قوم شعیب نے کیوں نصیحت حاصل نہیں کی قوم لوط کے انجام سے ؟
