اصل میں لفظ الحاقہ استعمال ہوا ہے جس کے معنی ہیں وہ واقعہ جو کو لازماً پیش آکر رہنا ہے جس کا آنا برحق ہے ،جس کے آنے میں کسی شک کی گنجائش نہیں۔ یامت کے لیے یہ لفظ استعمال کر نا اور پھر کلام کا آغاز ہی اس سے کرنا خود بخود یہ ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ مُخاطب وہ لوگ ہیں جو اُس کے آنے کو جھٹلا رہے تھے۔ اُن کو خطاب کر کے فرمایا جا رہا ہے کہ جس چیز کی تم تکذیب کر رہے ہو وہ ہونی شُدنی ہے ، تمہارے انکار سے اُس کا آنا رُک نہیں جائے گا۔

آیت 1 { اَلْحَآقَّۃُ۔ } ”وہ حق ہوجانے والی !“ یعنی قیامت جس کا وقوع پذیر ہونا حق ہے ‘ اس کا واقع ہونا ایک مسلمہ ّصداقت اور اٹل حقیقت ہے جس میں قطعاً کوئی شک نہیں۔
