  1. قُلْکہہ دیجئے
  2. اَرَءَیْتُمْکیا دیکھا تم نے
  3. اِنْاگر
  4. اَهْلَكَنِیَہلاک کردے مجھ کو
  5. اللّٰهُاللہ
  6. وَمَنْاور اسے جو
  7. مَّعِیَمیرے ساتھ ہے
  8. اَوْیا
  9. رَحِمَنَا ۙوہ رحم کرے ہم پر
  10. فَمَنْتو کون
  11. یُّجِیْرُپناہ دے گا
  12. الْكٰفِرِیْنَکافروں کو
  13. مِنْسے
  14. عَذَابٍعذاب
  15. اَلِیْمٍدردناک

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِن سے کہو، کبھی تم نے یہ بھی سوچا کہ اللہ خواہ مجھے اور میرے ساتھیوں کو ہلاک کر دے یا ہم پر رحم کرے، کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچا لے گا؟1

  1. مکہ معظمہ میں جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی دعوت کا آغاز ہوا اور قریش کے مختلف خاندانوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد نے اسلام قبول کرنا شروع کر دیا تو گھر گھر حضورؐ اور آپ کے ساتھیوں کو بد دعائیں دی جانے لگیں۔ جادو ٹونے کیے جانے لگے تا کہ آپ ہلاک ہو جائیں۔ حتٰی کہ قتل کے منصوبے بھی سوچے جانے لگے ۔ اس پر یہ فرمایا گیا کہ ان سے کہو، خواہ ہم ہلاک ہو یا خدا کے فضل سے زندہ رہیں، اس سے تمہیں کیا حاصل ہو گا؟ تم اپنی فکر کرو کہ خدا کے عذاب سے تم کیسے بچو گے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

(اے نبی ﷺ !) ان سے کہیے کہ اگر اللہ مجھے اور جو لوگ میرے ساتھ ہیں ان کو ہلاک کردے یا وہ ہم پر رحم کرے تو کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچائے گا ؟

Commentary

آیت 28{ قُلْ اَرَئَ یْتُمْ اِنْ اَہْلَکَنِیَ اللّٰہُ وَمَنْ مَّعِیَ اَوْ رَحِمَنَالا فَمَنْ یُّجِیْرُ الْکٰفِرِیْنَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ۔ } ”اے نبی ﷺ ! ان سے کہیے کہ اگر اللہ مجھے اور جو لوگ میرے ساتھ ہیں ‘ ان کو ہلاک کردے یا وہ ہم پر رحم کرے ‘ تو کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچائے گا ؟“ یعنی ہم نے تو اپنا معاملہ اپنے اللہ کے سپرد کر رکھا ہے۔ ہم اللہ کے بتائے ہوئے جس راستے پر چل رہے ہیں اس میں یا تو ہماری جانیں چلی جائیں گی یا ہم فتح یاب ہوں گے۔ ان میں سے جو صورت بھی ہو ‘ ہمارے لیے تو کامیابی ہی کامیابی ہے۔ بلکہ ہماری اصل اور ابدی کامیابی تو وہ ہے جسے تم ہلاکت سمجھتے ہو۔ بہرحال صورت ِحال جو بھی ہو ‘ ان دو بھلائیوں میں سے ایک بھلائی اِحْدَی الْحُسْنَـیَیْنِ التوبۃ : 52 تو ہمیں مل کر ہی رہے گی۔ ہمارے غلبے اور فتح کی صورت میں تو تم بھی ہمیں کامیاب قرار دو گے ‘ لیکن ہم اگر بقول تمہارے ہلاک بھی ہوگئے تو تم اپنے بارے میں بھی تو سوچو کہ تم لوگوں کو اللہ کے عذاب سے کون بچائے گا ؟
