Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہی تو ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے زمین کو تابع کر رکھا ہے ، چلو اُس کی چھاتی پر اور کھاوٴ خدا کا رزق،1 اُسی کے حضور تمہیں دوبارہ زندہ ہو کر جانا ہے۔2

  1. یعنی یہ زمین تمہارے لیے آپ سے آپ تابع نہیں بن گئی ہے اور وہ رزق بھی جو تم کھا رہے ہو خود بخود یہاں پیدا نہیں ہوگیا ہے ، بلکہ اللہ نے اپنی حکمت اور قدرت سے اِس کو ایسا بنایا ہے کہ یہاں تمہاری زمدگی ممکن ہوئی اور یہ عظیم الشان کُرہ ایسا پُرسکون بن گیا کہ تم اطمینان سے  اس پر چل پھر رہے ہو اور ایسا خو انِ نعمت بن گیا کہ اس میں تمہارے  لیے زندگی بسر کرنے کا بے حد و حساب سرو سامان موجود ہے ۔ اگر تم غفلت میں مبتلا نہ ہو اور کچھ ہوش سے کام لے دیکھو تو تمہیں معلوم ہو کہ اِس زمین کو تمہاری زندگی کے قابل بنانے اور اس کے اندر رزق کے اتھاہ خزانے جمع کر دینے میں کتنی حکمتیں کار فرما ہیں ۔ (تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن، جلد سوم، النمل،حواشی73۔74۔81۔ جلد چہارم، یٰس،حواشی29۔32۔المومن، حواشی9۰۔91۔ الزُّخْرُف، حاشیہ7۔ الجاثیہ، حاشیہ7۔ جلد پنجم، ق، حاشیہ18)۔

  2. یعنی اِ س زمین پر چلتے پھرتے اور خدا کا بخشا ہوا رزق کھاتے ہوئے اِ س بات کو نہ بھولو کہ آخر کار تمہیں ایک دن خدا کے حضور حاضر ہونا ہے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے بنا دیا ہے زمین کو پست تو تم چلو پھرو اس کے کندھوں کے مابین اور اس کے (دیے ہوئے) رزق سے کھائو پیو اور (یاد رکھو کہ تم نے) اسی کی طرف زندہ ہو کر جانا ہے۔

Commentary

آیت 15{ ہُوَ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ لَـکُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُوْلًا } ”وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے بنا دیا ہے زمین کو پست“ اس نے زمین کو تمہارے ماتحت اور تابع حکم کر رکھا ہے۔ { فَامْشُوْا فِیْ مَنَاکِبِہَا } ”تو تم چلو پھرو اس کے کندھوں کے مابین“ زمین کے کندھوں سے مراد اس کے وہ میدان ہیں جو انسان کو بہت وسیع اور کشادہ نظر آتے ہیں۔ جیسے ایک چیونٹی اگر ہاتھی کے کندھوں کے درمیان چل پھر رہی ہوگی تو ظاہر ہے اس جگہ کو وہ بہت وسیع میدان سمجھے گی۔ { وَکُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِہٖط وَاِلَـیْہِ النُّشُوْرُ۔ } ”اور اس کے دیے ہوئے رزق سے کھائو پیو ‘ اور یاد رکھو کہ تم نے اسی کی طرف زندہ ہو کر جانا ہے۔“
