Tafheem-ul-Quran
کیا تمہیں اُن لوگوں کی کوئی خبر نہیں پہنچی جنہوں نے اِس سے پہلے کُفر کیا اور پھر اپنی شامتِ اعمال کا مزہ چکھ لیا؟ اور آگے اُن کے لیے ایک درد ناک عذاب ہے۔1

یعنی دنیا میں انہوں نے شامت اعمال کا جو مزا چکھا وہ ان کے جرائم کی نہ اصل سزا تھی نہ پوری سزا۔ اصلی اور پوری سزا تو ابھی آخرت میں ان کو بھگتنی ہے۔ لیکن دنیا میں جو عذاب ان پر آیا اس سے لوگ یہ سبق لے سکتے ہیں کہ جن قوموں نے بھی اپنے رب کے مقابلے میں کفر کا رویہ اختیار کیا وہ کس طرح بگڑتی چلی گئیں اور آخر کس انجام سے دوچار ہوئیں۔ (مزید تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن، جلد دوم، الاعراف، حاشیہ 5۔6۔ ہود، حاشیہ 105)۔

Commentary
آیت 5{ اَلَـمْ یَاْتِکُمْ نَـبَؤُا الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ } ”کیا تمہارے پاس خبریں آ نہیں چکی ہیں ان لوگوں کی جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا پہلے“ قومِ نوح علیہ السلام ‘ قومِ ہود علیہ السلام ‘ قومِ صالح علیہ السلام اور دوسری اقوام کے واقعات مکی قرآن میں بار بار دہرائے گئے ہیں۔ { فَذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ اَمْرِہِمْ } ”تو انہوں نے اپنے کیے کی سزا چکھ لی“ انہوں نے اللہ کے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا اور اس کفر کی پاداش میں انہیں ہلاک کردیا گیا۔ { وَلَہُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌ۔ } ”اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب بھی ہے۔“ دنیا کی سزا بھگتنے کے بعد ان اقوام کے افراد ابھی تو عالم برزخ میں ہیں ‘ لیکن ان کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو بہت بڑا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے وہ بھی ان کا منتظر ہے۔ اس بڑے عذاب کا سامنا انہیں آخرت میں کرنا پڑے گا۔ اب اگلی آیت میں ان کے کفر کے سبب کا تجزیہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔
