Commentary
آیت 2 { یٰٓــاَیـُّـھَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لِمَ تَقُوْلُوْنَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ۔ } ”اے مسلمانو ! تم کیوں کہتے ہو وہ جو کرتے نہیں ہو ؟“ اس آیت میں زجر و توبیخ اور جھنجھوڑنے کا وہی انداز پایا جاتا ہے جو اس سے قبل ہم سورة الحدید میں بھی دیکھ چکے ہیں۔ بلکہ یہ اسلوب زیر مطالعہ مدنی سورتوں میں جگہ جگہ پایا جاتا ہے۔ قبل ازیں سورة الحدید کے تمہیدی کلمات میں اس اسلوب کی وجہ بھی بیان کی گئی ہے کہ ان سورتوں کے زمانہ نزول 5 ہجری کے بعد تک پرانے مسلمانوں کی نسبت نومسلموں کی تعداد زیادہ ہوچکی تھی۔ ایمان کی گہرائی اور جذبہ ایثار و قربانی کے حوالے سے نووارد مسلمانوں کی کیفیت چونکہ ”السابقون الاولون“ اور ابتدائی دور کے اہل ایمان کی سی نہیں تھی ‘ اس لیے مسلمانوں کے ایمان و عمل کے اجتماعی معیار کے اوسط میں قدرے کمی واقع ہوئی تھی اور اسی وجہ سے انہیں اس انداز میں جھنجھوڑاجا رہا ہے۔ لیکن قرآن مجید چونکہ ہر زمانے کے لوگوں سے مخاطب ہے ‘ اس لیے اس آیت کو پڑھتے ہوئے یوں سمجھیں کہ آج یہ ہم سے سوال کر رہی ہے کہ اے ایمان کے دعوے دارو ! تم کیسے مسلمان ہو ؟ تمہارے قول و فعل میں اتنا تضاد کیوں ہے ؟ تم اللہ پر ایمان کا اقرار بھی کرتے ہو اور دن رات اس کے احکام کو پائوں تلے روندتے بھی رہتے ہو ! تم رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ذات سے عشق و محبت کے دعوے بھی کرتے ہو لیکن جب عمل کے میدان میں آتے ہو تو آپ ﷺ کی سنتوں کی دھجیاں بکھیر کر رکھ دیتے ہو ! ذرا تصور کیجیے ! آج اگر اللہ کا کلام نازل ہو تو ہمارے ایمان ‘ ہمارے کردار اور ہمارے عمل پر کیا کیا تبصرہ کرے ! اور اگر آج حضور ﷺ خود تشریف لاکر اپنی امت کی حالت دیکھ لیں تو کیسا محسوس کریں !
