  1. وَوَهَبْنَااور عطا کیے ہم نے
  2. لَهٗۤاس کو
  3. اِسْحٰقَاسحاق
  4. وَیَعْقُوْبَ ؕاور یعقوب
  5. كُلًّاہر ایک کو
  6. هَدَیْنَا ۚہدایت دی ہم نے
  7. وَنُوْحًااور نوح کو
  8. هَدَیْنَاہدایت دی ہم نے
  9. مِنْاس سے
  10. قَبْلُقبل
  11. وَمِنْاور اس کی
  12. ذُرِّیَّتِهٖاولاد میں سے
  13. دَاوٗدَداؤد
  14. وَسُلَیْمٰنَاور سلیمان
  15. وَاَیُّوْبَاور ایوب
  16. وَیُوْسُفَاور یوسف
  17. وَمُوْسٰیاور موسیٰ
  18. وَهٰرُوْنَ ؕاور ہارون
  19. وَكَذٰلِكَاور اسی طرح
  20. نَجْزِیہم جزادیتے ہیں
  21. الْمُحْسِنِیْنَاحسان کرنے والوں کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر ہم نے ابراہیمؑ کو اسحاقؑ اور یعقوبؑ جیسی اولاد دی اور ہر ایک کو راہ راست دکھائی (وہی راہ راست جو) اس سے پہلے نوحؑ کو دکھائی تھی اور اُسی کی نسل سے ہم نے داؤدؑ، سلیمانؑ، ایوبؑ، یوسفؑ، موسیٰؑ اور ہارونؑ کو (ہدایت بخشی) اِس طرح ہم نیکو کاروں کو ان کی نیکی کا بدلہ دیتے ہیں

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور ہم نے اسے (ابراہیم ؑ کو) عطا فرمایا اسحاق ؑ (جیسا بیٹا) اور یعقوب ؑ (جیسا پوتا) ان سب کو ہم نے ہدایت دی۔ اور نوح ؑ کو بھی ہم نے ہدایت دی تھی ان سے پہلے اور اس (ابراہیم ؑ کی اولاد میں سے داؤد ؑ سلیمان ؑ ایوب ؑ یوسف ؑ موسیٰ ؑ اور ہارون ؑ کو بھی (ہدایت بخشی)۔ اور اسی طرح ہم بدلہ دیتے ہیں محسنین کو۔

آیت 84 وَوَہَبْنَا لَہٗٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَیَعْقُوْبَط کُلاًّ ہَدَیْنَاج وَنُوْحًا ہَدَیْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمِنْ ذُرِّیَّتِہٖ دَاوٗدَ وَسُلَیْمٰنَ وَاَیُّوْبَ وَیُوْسُفَ وَمُوْسٰی وَہٰرُوْنَط وَکَذٰلِکَ نَجْزِی الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ یعنی یہ لوگ ایمان کی اس بلند ترین منزل پر فائز تھے جس کے بارے میں ہم سورة المائدۃ میں پڑھ آئے ہیں : ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَاٰمَنُوْا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَّاَحْسَنُوْاط واللّٰہُ یُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ
