  1. وَهُوَاور وہ
  2. الْقَاهِرُغالب آنے والا ہے
  3. فَوْقَاوپر
  4. عِبَادِهٖاپنے بندوں کے
  5. وَیُرْسِلُاور وہ بھیجتا ہے
  6. عَلَیْكُمْتم پر
  7. حَفَظَةً ؕنگہبان
  8. حَتّٰۤییہاں تک کہ
  9. اِذَاجب
  10. جَآءَآتی ہے
  11. اَحَدَكُمُتم میں سے کسی ایک کو
  12. الْمَوْتُموت
  13. تَوَفَّتْهُفوت کرنے ہیں اس کو
  14. رُسُلُنَاہمارے بھیجے ہوئے
  15. وَهُمْاور وہ
  16. لَانہیں
  17. یُفَرِّطُوْنَکمی کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اپنے بندوں پر وہ پُوری قدرت رکھتا ہے اور تم پر نگرانی کرنے والے مقرر کرکے بھیجتا ہے،1 یہاں تک کہ جب تم میں سے کسی کی مَوت کا وقت آ جاتا ہے تو اس کے بھیجے ہوئے فرشتے اس کی جان نکال لیتے ہیں اور اپنا فرض انجام دینے میں ذرا کوتاہی نہیں کرتے

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور وہ اپنے بندوں پر پوری طرح غالب ہے اور وہ تم پر نگہبان بھیجتا رہتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب تم میں سے کسی کی موت آتی ہے تو ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے فرشتے اس کو قبضے میں لے لیتے ہیں اور اس میں کوئی کوتاہی نہیں کرتے۔

Commentary

آیت 61 وَہُوَ الْقَاہِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِہٖ وَیُرْسِلُ عَلَیْکُمْ حَفَظَۃً ط۔اللہ تعالیٰ کی مشیت سے انسان کو اپنی اجل معیّن تک بہر صورت زندہ رہنا ہے ‘ اس لیے ہر انسان کے ساتھ اللہ کے مقرر کردہ فرشتے اس کے باڈی گارڈز کی حیثیت سے ہر وقت موجود رہتے ہیں۔ چناچہ کبھی انسان کو ایسا حادثہ بھی پیش آتا ہے جب زندہ بچ جانے کا بظاہر کوئی امکان نہیں ہوتا ‘ لیکن یوں محسوس ہوتا ہے جیسے کسی نے ہاتھ دے کر اسے بچایا لیاہو۔ بہر حال جب تک انسان کی موت کا وقت نہیں آتا ‘ یہ محافظ اس کی حفاظت کرتے رہتے ہیں۔حَتّٰیٓ اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَکُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْہُ رُسُلُنَا وَہُمْ لاَ یُفَرِّطُوْنَ اب یہاں پھر لفظ تَوَفّٰی شعور اور جان دونوں کے جانے کے مفہوم میں استعمال ہوا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے مقرر کردہ فرشتے جان نکالنے میں کوئی کوتاہی نہیں کرتے۔ انہیں جو حکم دیا جاتا ہے ‘ جب دیا جاتا ہے اس کی تعمیل کرتے ہیں۔
