  1. قُلْکہہ دیجیے

  7. تَدْعُوْنَجن کو تم پکارتے ہو
  8. مِنْکے
  9. دُوْنِسوا
  10. اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ
  11. قُلْکہہ دیجیے
  12. لَّاۤنہیں
  13. اَتَّبِعُمیں پیروی کرتا
  14. اَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙتمہاری خواہشات کی
  15. قَدْتحقیق
  16. ضَلَلْتُمیں بھٹک گیا
  17. اِذًاتب
  18. وَّمَاۤاور نہیں
  19. اَنَامیں
  20. مِنَمیں سے
  21. الْمُهْتَدِیْنَہدایت پانے والوں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمدؐ! اِن سے کہو کہ تم لوگ اللہ کے سوا جن دوسروں کو پکارتے ہو اُن کی بندگی کرنے سے مجھے منع کیا گیا ہے کہو، میں تمہاری خواہشات کی پیروی نہیں کروں گا، اگر میں نے ایسا کیا تو گمراہ ہو گیا، راہ راست پانے والوں میں سے نہ رہا

Bayan-ul-Quran

(اے نبی ﷺ کہہ دیجیے کہ مجھے تو منع کردیا گیا ہے ان کو پوجنے سے جن کو تم پکارتے ہو اللہ کے سوا کہہ دیجیے کہ میں تمہاری خواہشات کی پیروی نہیں کرسکتا اگر ایسا کروں گا تو میں گمراہ ہوجاؤں گا اور پھر نہ رہوں گا میں ہدایت پانے والوں میں

Commentary

آیت 56 قُلْ اِنِّیْ نُہِیْتُ اَنْ اَعْبُدَ الَّذِیْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰہِ ط۔ یہ لات ‘ منات ‘ عزیٰ وغیرہ جن کو تم لوگ اللہ کے علاوہ معبود مانتے ہو ‘ ان کو میں نہیں پکار سکتا۔ مجھے اس سے منع کردیا گیا ہے۔ مجھے تو حکم دیا گیا ہے : لَا تَدْعُوْا مَعَ اللّٰہِ اَحَدًا الجن کہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی اور کو مت پکارو۔
