Surah 6, ayah 37

  1. وَقَالُوْااور وہ کہتے ہیں
  2. لَوْلَاکیوں نہ
  3. نُزِّلَاتاری گئی
  4. عَلَیْهِاس پر
  5. اٰیَةٌکوئی نشانی
  6. مِّنْسے
  7. رَّبِّهٖ ؕاس کے رب کی طرف
  8. قُلْکہہ دیجیے
  9. اِنَّبیشک
  10. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
  11. قَادِرٌقادر ہے
  12. عَلٰۤیاس بات پر
  13. اَنْکہ
  14. یُّنَزِّلَاتارے
  15. اٰیَةًکوئی نشانی
  16. وَّلٰكِنَّاور لیکن
  17. اَكْثَرَهُمْاکثر ان میں سے
  18. لَانہیں
  19. یَعْلَمُوْنَعلم رکھتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اِس نبی پر اس کے ربّ کی طرف سے کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں اُتری؟ کہو، اللہ نشانی اتارنے کی پُوری قدرت رکھتا ہے، مگر ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نادانی میں مُبتلا ہیں۔1

  1. نشانی سے مراد محسوس معجزہ ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس ارشاد کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ معجزہ نہ دکھائے جانے کی وجہ یہ نہیں ہے کہ ہم اس کو دکھانے سے عاجز ہیں بلکہ اس کی وجہ کچھ اَور ہے جسے یہ لوگ محض اپنی نادانی سے  نہیں سمجھتے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کیوں نہیں اتار دی گئی ان پر کوئی نشانی ان کے رب کی طرف سے ؟ کہہ دو اللہ قادر ہے کہ وہ کوئی (بڑی سے بڑی) نشانی اتار دے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں ہیں

Commentary

آیت 37 وَقَالُوْا لَوْلاَ نُزِّلَ عَلَیْہِ اٰیَۃٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّہٖ ط ان کے پاس دلیل بس یہی ایک رہ گئی تھی کہ اگر یہ اللہ کے رسول ہیں تو ان پر ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں اتار دی جاتی ؟ اسی ایک حجت پر انہوں نے ڈیرہ لگا لیا تھا۔ باقی ساری دلیلوں میں وہ مات کھا رہے تھے۔ دراصل انہیں بھی اندازہ ہوچکا تھا کہ ان حالات میں کوئی حسی معجزہ دکھانا اللہ تعالیٰ کی مشیت میں نہیں ہے۔ اس صورت حال میں حضور ﷺ کی طبیعت کی تنگی ضیق کا اندازہ اس سے لگائیں کہ قرآن میں بار بار اس کا ذکر آتا ہے۔ سورة الحجر میں اسی کیفیت کا ذکر ان الفاظ میں آیا ہے : وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ اَ نَّکَ یَضِیْقُ صَدْرُکَ بِمَا یَقُوْلُوْنَ ہم خوب جانتے ہیں کہ آپ کا سینہ بھنچتا ہے ان باتوں سے جو یہ کہہ رہے ہیں۔۔قُلْ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَادِرٌ عَلآی اَنْ یُّنَزِّلَ اٰیَۃً وَّلٰکِنَّ اَکْثَرَہُمْ لاَ یَعْلَمُوْنَ ۔یہ لوگ نہیں جانتے کہ اس طرح کا معجزہ دکھانے کا نتیجہ کیا نکلے گا۔ اس طرح ان کی مہلت ختم ہوجائے گی۔ یہ ہماری رحمت ہے کہ ابھی ہم یہ معجزہ نہیں دکھا رہے۔ یہ بد بخت لوگ جس موقف پر مورچہ لگا کر بیٹھ گئے ہیں اس کی حساسیت کا انہیں علم ہی نہیں۔ انہیں معلوم نہیں ہے کہ معجزہ نہ دکھانا ان کے لیے ہماری رحمت کا ظہور ہے اور ہم ابھی انہیں مزید مہلت دینا چاہتے ہیں۔ ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ یہ دودھ ابھی اور بلویا جائے ‘ شاید اس میں سے کچھ اور مکھن نکل آئے۔
