  1. اَوْیا
  2. تَقُوْلُوْاتم کہو
  3. لَوْکہ اگر
  4. اَنَّاۤبیشک ہم
  5. اُنْزِلَنازل کی جاتی
  6. عَلَیْنَاہم پر
  7. الْكِتٰبُکتاب
  8. لَكُنَّاۤالبتہ ہوتے ہم
  9. اَهْدٰیزیادہ ہدایت یافتہ
  10. مِنْهُمْ ۚان سے
  11. فَقَدْتو تحقیق
  12. جَآءَكُمْآگئی ہے تمہارے پاس
  13. بَیِّنَةٌکھلی دلیل
  14. مِّنْسے
  15. رَّبِّكُمْتمہارے رب کی طرف سے
  16. وَهُدًیاور ہدایت
  17. وَّرَحْمَةٌ ۚاور رحمت
  18. فَمَنْتو کون
  19. اَظْلَمُزیادہ بڑا ظالم ہے
  20. مِمَّنْاس سے جو
  21. كَذَّبَجھٹلائے
  22. بِاٰیٰتِآیات کو
  23. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  24. وَصَدَفَاور روکے
  25. عَنْهَا ؕان سے
  26. سَنَجْزِیعنقریب ہم جزا دیں گے
  27. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
  28. یَصْدِفُوْنَجو منہ موڑتے ہیں
  29. عَنْسے
  30. اٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات سے
  31. سُوْٓءَبرا
  32. الْعَذَابِعذاب
  33. بِمَابوجہ اس کے
  34. كَانُوْاجو تھے
  35. یَصْدِفُوْنَوہ منہ موڑتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور اب تم یہ بہانہ بھی نہیں کرسکتے کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ راست رو ثابت ہوتے۔ تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیلِ روشن اور ہدایت اور رحمت آگئی ہے، اب اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ موڑے۔1 جو لوگ ہماری آیات سے منہ موڑتے ہیں انہیں اس رُوگردانی کی پاداش میں ہم بدترین سزا دے کر رہیں گے

  1. اللہ کی آیات سے مراد اس کے وہ ارشادات  بھی ہیں جو قرآن کی صورت میں لوگوں کے سامنے پیش کیے جارہے تھے ، اور وہ نشانیاں بھی جو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی شخصیت اور آپ پر ایمان لانے والوں کی پاکیزہ زندگی میں نمایاں نظر آرہی تھیں ، اور وہ آثارِ کائنات بھی جنھیں قرآن اپنی دعوت کی تائید میں شہادت کے طور پر پیش کررہا تھا۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

) یا تم یہ کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہدایت یافتہ ہوتے تو (اے بنی اسماعیل) تمہارے پاس آگئی ہے بیّنہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے اور ہدایت اور رحمت ،) تو اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے پہلو تہی کرے ہم عنقریب سزا دیں گے ان لوگوں کو جو ہماری آیات سے پہلو تہی کرتے ہیں بہت ہی برے عذاب کی بسبب ان کے اس پہلو تہی کرنے کے

Commentary

آیت 157 اَوْ تَقُوْلُوْا لَوْ اَنَّآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَیْنَا الْکِتٰبُ لَکُنَّآ اَہْدٰی مِنْہُمْ ج۔یعنی تم روز قیامت یہ دعویٰ لے کر نہ بیٹھ جاؤ کہ ان بیوقوفوں نے تو اللہ کی کتابوں تورات اور انجیل کی قدر ہی نہیں کی۔ ہمیں اللہ نے کتاب دی ہوتی تو پھر ہم بتاتے کہ کتاب اللہ کی قدر کیسے کی جاتی ہے۔ فَقَدْ جَآءَ کُمْ بَیِّنَۃٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّکُمْ وَہُدًی وَّرَحْمَۃٌ ج۔یعنی تمہارے پاس اللہ کا رسول اس کی کتاب لے کر آچکا ہے جس میں واضح اور مستحکم احکام موجود ہیں۔ اس بَیِّنَۃ کی وضاحت سورة البیّنہ کی آیت 2 اور 3 میں اس طرح کی گئی ہے : رَسُوْلٌ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ یَتْلُوْا صُحُفًا مُّطَہَّرَۃً۔ فِیْہَا کُتُبٌ قَیِّمَۃٌ اللہ کی طرف سے ایک رسول جو مقدس صحیفے پڑھ کر سناتا ہے ‘ جن میں بالکل درست احکام ہیں۔
