  2. اٰتَیْنَادی ہم نے

  7. الَّذِیْۤاس کے جو
  8. اَحْسَنَنیکی کرے
  9. وَتَفْصِیْلًااور تفصیل (بیان کرنے کو)
  10. لِّكُلِّہر
  11. شَیْءٍچیز کے لئے
  12. وَّهُدًیاور باعث ہدایت
  13. وَّرَحْمَةًاور باعث رحمت
  14. لَّعَلَّهُمْتاکہ وہ
  15. بِلِقَآءِملاقات کا
  16. رَبِّهِمْاپنے رب کی
  17. یُؤْمِنُوْنَایمان رکھیں / ایمان لائیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر ہم نے موسیٰ ؑ کو کتاب عطا کی تھی جو بھلائی کی روش اختیار کرنے والے انسان پر نعمت کی تکمیل اور ہر ضروری چیز کی تفصیل اور سراسر ہدایت و رحمت تھی (اور اس لیے بھی اسرائیل کو دی گئی تھی کہ) شاید لوگ اپنے رب کی ملاقات پر ایمان لائیں۔1

  1. رب کی ملاقات پر ایمان لانے سے مراد اپنے آپ کو اللہ کے سامنے جواب دہ سمجھنا اور ذمہ دارانہ زندگی بسر کرنا ہے۔ یہاں اس ارشاد کے دو مطلب ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ایک یہ کہ خود بنی اسرسائیل میں اس کتاب کی حکیمانہ تعلیمات سے ذمّہ داری کا احساس بیدار ہو جائے۔ دوسرے یہ کہ عام لوگ اس اعلیٰ درجہ کے نظامِ زندگی کا مطالعہ کر کے اور نیکو کار انسانوں میں اِس نعمتِ ہدایت اور اس رحمت کے اثرات دیکھ کر یہ محسُوس کر لیں کہ انکارِ آخرت کی غیر ذمّہ دارانہ زندگی کے مقابلہ میں وہ زندگی ہر اعتبار سے بہتر ہے جو اقرارِ آخرت کی بُنیاد پر ذم دارانہ طریقہ سے بسر کی جاتی ہے ، اور اس طرح یہ مشاہدہ و مُطالعہ انھیں انکار سے ایمان کی طرف کھینچ لائے۔
