  5. فِیمیں
  6. الْاَرْضِزمین میں ہیں
  7. یُضِلُّوْكَوہ بھٹکادیں گے تجھ کو
  8. عَنْسے
  9. سَبِیْلِراستے
  10. اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ کے
  11. اِنْنہیں
  12. یَّتَّبِعُوْنَوہ پیروی کرتے
  13. اِلَّامگر
  14. الظَّنَّگمان کی
  15. وَاِنْاور نہیں
  16. هُمْوہ
  17. اِلَّامگر
  18. یَخْرُصُوْنَقیاس آرائیاں کرتے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور اے محمد ؐ ! اگر تم اُن لوگوں کی اکثریّت کے کہنے پر چلو جو زمین میں بستے ہیں تو وہ تمہیں اللہ کے راستہ سے بھٹکا دیں گے۔ وہ تو محض گمان پر چلتے اور قیاس آرا ئیاں کرتے ہیں۔1

  1. یعنی بیشتر لوگ جو دنیا میں بستے ہیں علم کے بجائے قیاس و گمان کی پیروی کر رہے ہیں اور ان کے عقائد، تخیلات ، فلسفے، اُصُولِ زندگی اور قوانینِ عمل سب کے سب قیاس آرائیوں پر مبنی ہیں۔ بخلاف اس کے اللہ کے راستہ ، یعنی دنیا میں زندگی بسر کرنے کا وہ طریقہ جو اللہ کی رضا کے مطابق ہے، لازماً صرف وہی ایک ہے جس کا علم اللہ نے خود دیا ہے نہ کہ وہ جس کو  لوگوں نے بطورِ خود اپنے قیاسات سے تجویز کر لیا ہے۔ لہٰذا کسی طالبِ حق کو یہ نہ دیکھنا چاہیے کہ دُنیا کے بیشتر انسان کِس راستہ پر جا رہے ہیں بلکہ اسے پُوری ثابت قدمی کے ساتھ اُس راہ پر چلنا چاہیے  جو  اللہ نے بتائی ہے ، چاہے اس راستہ پر چلنے کے لیے وہ دُنیا میں اکیلا ہی رہ جائے۔
