Surah 6, ayah 109

  1. وَاَقْسَمُوْااور انہوں نے قسمیں کھائیں
  2. بِاللّٰهِاللہ کی
  3. جَهْدَاپنی پکی
  4. اَیْمَانِهِمْقسمیں
  5. لَىِٕنْالبتہ
  6. جَآءَتْهُمْآئی ان کے پاس
  7. اٰیَةٌکوئی نشانی
  8. لَّیُؤْمِنُنَّتو ضرور ایمان لائیں گے
  9. بِهَا ؕاس پر
  10. قُلْکہہ دیجیے
  11. اِنَّمَابیشک
  12. الْاٰیٰتُنشانیاں
  13. عِنْدَپاس ہیں
  14. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  15. وَمَااور کیا
  16. یُشْعِرُكُمْ ۙچیز سمجھائے تم کو۔ شعور دے تم کو
  17. اَنَّهَاۤبیشک وہ
  18. اِذَاجب
  19. جَآءَتْآگئیں
  20. لَانہیں
  21. یُؤْمِنُوْنَوہ ایمان لائیں گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ لوگ کڑی کڑی قسمیں کھا کھاکر کہتے ہیں کہ اگر کوئی نشانی1ہمارے سامنے آجائے تو ہم اس پر ایمان لے آئیں گے۔ اے محمد ؐ ! ان سے کہو کہ ”نشانیاں تو اللہ کے پاس ہیں“۔2 اور تمہیں کیسے سمجھایا جائے کہ اگر نشانیاں آبھی جائیں تو یہ ایمان لانے والے نہیں۔3

  1. نشانی سے مراد کوئی ایسا صریح محسُوس معجزہ ہے جسے دیکھ کر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صداقت اور آپ ؐ کے مامور مِنَاللہ ہونے کو مان لینے کو سوا کوئی چارہ نہ رہے۔

  2. یعنی نشانیوں کے پیش کرنے اور بنا لانے کی قدرت مجھے حاصل نہیں ہے ، ان کا اختیار تو اللہ کو ہے، چاہے دکھائے اور نہ چاہے نہ دکھائے۔

  3. یہ خطاب مسلمانوں سے ہے جو بےتاب ہو ہو کر تمنا کرتے تھے اور کبھی کبھی زبان سے  بھی اس خواہش کا  اظہار کر دیتے تھے کہ کوئی ایسی نشانی ظاہر ہو جائے جس سے اُن کے گمراہ بھائی راہِ راست پر آجائیں۔ ان کی اس تمنا اور خواہش کے جواب میں ارشاد ہو رہا ہے کہ آخر تمھیں کس طرح سمجھایا جائے کہ ان لوگوں کا ایمان لانا کسی نشانی کے ظہُور پر موقوف نہیں ہے۔
