  1. فَاَصْحٰبُپس ہیں والے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

دائیں بازو والے،1 سودائیں بازو والوں (کی خوش نصیبی)کا کیا کہنا

  1. اصل میں لفظ اَصْحَابُ لْمَیْمَنَہ استعمال ہوا ہے۔میمنہ عربی قاعدے کے مطابق یمین  سے بھی ہو سکتا ہے جس کے معنی سیدھے ہاتھ کے ہیں، اور یُمن سے بھی ہو سکتا ہے جس کے معنی ہیں چال نیک۔ اگر اس کو یمین سے ماخوذ مانا جائے تو اصحاب المیمنہ کے معنہ ہوں گے ’’سیدھے ہاتھ والے ‘‘ لیکن اس سے لغوی معنی مراد نہیں ہیں بلکہ اس کا مطلب ہے عالی مرتبہ وگ، اہل عرب سیدھے ہاتھ کو قوت اور رفعت اور عزت کا نشان سمجھتے تھے۔ جس کا احترام مقصود ہوتا تھا  اسے مجلس میں سیدھے ہاتھ پر بٹھاتے تھے۔ کسی کے متعلق یہ کہنا ہوتا کہ میرے دل میں اس کی بڑی عزت ہے تو کہتے فلانٌ  مِنِّی بالیمین، ’’ وہ تو میرے سیدھے ہاتھ کی طرف ہے ’’ اردو میں بھی کسی شخص کو کسی بڑی ہستی کا دست راست اس معنی میں کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ اس کا خاص آدمی ہے۔ اور اگر اس کو یُمن سے ماخوذ مانا جائے تو اصحاب المیمنہ کے معنی ہوں گے خوش نصیب اور نیک بخت لوگ۔

تو جو داہنے والے ہوں گے کیا خوب ہوں گے وہ داہنے والے !

Commentary

آیت 8{ فَاَصْحٰبُ الْمَیْمَنَۃِ لا مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الْمَیْمَنَۃِ۔ } ”تو جو داہنے والے ہوں گے ‘ کیا خوب ہوں گے وہ داہنے والے !“ داہنے والوں کی خوش نصیبی کا کیا کہناہو گا۔۔۔ یا تم لوگوں کو کیا معلوم کہ وہ داہنے والے لوگ کون ہوں گے ‘ ان کی کیا شان ہوگی اور وہ کس کیفیت میں ہوں گے۔ مَیْمَنَۃ ”یمین“ سے بھی ہوسکتا ہے جس کے معنی سیدھے ہاتھ کے ہیں ‘ اور ”یُمن“ سے بھی ہوسکتا ہے جس کے معنی برکت اور خوش نصیبی کے ہیں۔ اس اعتبار سے اَصْحٰبُ الْمَیْمَنَۃ کا ترجمہ مبارک لوگ یا خوش نصیب اور نیک بخت لوگ بھی ہوسکتا ہے۔
