  1. وَاَنَّهٗاور بیشک وہ
  2. هُوَوہی ہے
  3. اَغْنٰیجس نے غنی کیا
  4. وَاَقْنٰیاور جائیداد بخشی۔ دولت مند کیا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور یہ کہ اُسی نے غنی کیا اور جائیداد بخشی،1

  1. اصل میں لفظ اَقْنیٰ  استعمال ہوا ہے جس کے مختلف معنی اہل لغت اور مفسرین نے بیان کیے ہیں۔ قتادہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس نے اس کے ء معنی اَرْضیٰ (راضی کر دیا) بتائے ہیں۔ عکرمہ نے ابن عباس سے اس کے عنی قَنَّعَ (مطمئن کر دیا ) نقل کیے ہیں۔امام رازی کہتے ہیں کہ آدمی کی حاجت سے زیادہ جو کچھ بھی اس کو دیا جائے وہ اِقناء ہے ۔ ابو عبیدہ اور دوسرے متعدد اہل لغت کو قول ہے کہ اَقْنیٰ قُنْیَۃٌ سے مشتق  ہے جس کے معنی ہیں باقی اور محفوظ رہنے والا مال، جیسے مکان، اراضی، باغات، مواشی وغیرہ۔ ان سب سے الگ مفہوم ابن زید بیان کرتے ہیں۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اَقْنیٰ یہاں اَفْقَرَ (فقیر کر دیا) کے معنی میں ہے اور آیت کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اس نے جس کو چاہا غنی کیا اور جسے چاہا فقیر کر دیا۔
