یہ ہے ان کے علم کی رسائی کی حد یقینا آپ ﷺ کا ربّ خوب جانتا ہے ان کو بھی جو اس کی راہ سے بھٹک گئے ہیں اور وہ خوب جانتا ہے ان کو بھی جو ہدایت پر ہیں۔

Commentary
آیت 30{ ذٰلِکَ مَبْلَغُہُمْ مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ ط } ”یہ ہے ان کے علم کی رسائی کی حد۔“ ان کے علم کی رسائی بس دنیا تک ہی ہے اور وہ اسی میں الجھ کر رہ گئے ہیں۔ علم آخرت ان کے چھوٹے اور محدود ذہنوں کی پہنچ میں ہے ہی نہیں۔ حالانکہ انسان کا ذہنی ظرف ذرا بھی وسیع ہو تو وہ اپنے غور و فکر سے اس نتیجے پر پہنچ سکتا ہے کہ انسان جو کہ اشرف المخلوقات ہے اس کی زندگی اتنی بےوقعت نہیں ہوسکتی کہ اسے ”چاردن“ کی زندگی کا عنوان دے کر فضول خواہشات کی نذر کردیا جائے۔ بقول بہادر شاہ ظفر ؔ: ؎عمر ِدراز مانگ کے لائے تھے چار دن دو آرزو میں کٹ گئے ‘ دو انتظار میں !بہرحال یہ بات عقل اور منطق ہی کے خلاف ہے کہ انسان جیسی اشرف المخلوقات اور مسجودِ ملائک ہستی کی زندگی محض تیس ‘ چالیس یا پچاس برس کے دورانیے تک ہی محدود ہو۔ اس حوالے سے علامہ اقبال کا فلسفہ بہت بصیرت افروز اور مبنی بر حقیقت ہے۔ علامہ کے نزدیک انسانی زندگی وقت کے ایسے جاودانی تسلسل کا نام ہے جسے پیمانہ امروز و فردا سے ناپنا ممکن ہی نہیں : ؎تو اسے پیمانہ امروز و فردا سے نہ ناپ جاوداں ‘ پیہم دواں ‘ ہر دم جواں ہے زندگی ! { اِنَّ رَبَّکَ ہُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِیْلِہٖ لا وَہُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اہْتَدٰی۔ } ”یقینا آپ ﷺ کا ربّ خوب جانتا ہے ان کو بھی جو اس کی راہ سے بھٹک گئے ہیں اور وہ خوب جانتا ہے ان کو بھی جو ہدایت پر ہیں۔“
