الجَارِیَا تِ یُسْراً اور المُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمْراً کی تفسیر میں مفسرین کے درمیان اختلاف ہے۔ ایک گروہ نے اس بات کو ترجیح دی ہے، یا یہ مفہوم لینا جائز رکھا ہے کہ ان دونوں سے مراد بھی ہوائیں ہی ہیں، یعنی یہی ہوائیں پھر بادلوں کو لے کر چلتی ہیں اور پھر روئے زمین کے مختلف حصوں میں پھیل کر اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم کے مطابق، جہاں جتنا حکم ہوتا ہے، پانی تقسیم کرتی ہیں۔ دوسرے گروہ نے الجَارِیَاتِ یُسْراً سے مراد سب ک رفتاری کے ساتھ چلنے والی کشتیاں لی ہیں اور المُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمْراً سے مراد وہ فرشتے لیے ہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم کے مطابق اس کی مخلوقات کے نصیب کی چیزیں ان میں تقسیم کرتے ہیں۔ ایک روایت کی تو سے حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان دونوں فقروں کا یہ مطلب بیان کر کے فرمایا کہ اگر میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم سے نہ سنا ہوتا تو میں اسے بیان نہ کرتا۔ اسی بنا پر علامۂ آلوسی اس خیال کا اظہار کتے ہیں کہ اس کے سوا ان فقروں کا کوئی اور مطلب لینا جائز نہیں ہے اور جن لوگوں نے کوئی دوسرا مفہوم لیا ہے انہوں نے بے جا جسارت کی ہے۔ لیکن حافظ ابن کثیر کہتے ہیں کہ اس روایت کی سند ضعیف ہے اس کی بنیاد پر قطعیت کے ساتھ یہ نہیں کہا جاسکتا کہ فی الواقع حضورؐ ہی نے ان فقروں کی یہ تفسیر فرمائی ہے۔ اس میں شک نہیں کہ صحابہ و تابعین کی ایک معتد بہ جماعت سے یہی دوسری تفسیر منقول ہے، لیکن مفسرین کی ایک اچھی خاصی جماعت نے پہلی تفسیر بھی بیان کی ہے اور سلسلہ کلام سے وہ زیادہ مناسبت رکھتی ہے۔ شاہ رفیع الدین صاحب، شاہ عبدالقادر صاحب اور مولانا محمود الحسن صاحب جے بھی اپنے ترجموں میں پہلا مفہوم ہی لیا ہے۔
