Tafheem-ul-Quran

کہ جس چیز پر بھی وہ گزر گئی اسے بوسیدہ کر کے رکھ دیا۔1

  1. اس ہوا کے لیے لفظ عقیم استعمال ہوا ہے جو بانجھ عورت کے لیے بولا جاتا ہے، اور لغت میں اس کے اصل معنی یا بِس (خشک) کے ہیں۔ اگر اسے لغوی معنی میں لیا جائے تو اس کا مطلب یہ لوگا یہ وہ ایسی سخت گرم و خشک ہو تھی کہ جس چیز پر سے وہ گزر گئی اسے سکھا کر رکھ دیا۔ اور اگر اسے محاورے کے مفہوم میں لیا جائے تو اس کے معنی یہ ہونگے کہ بانجھ عورت کی طرح وہ ایسی ہوا تھی جو اپنے اندر کوئی نفع نہ رکھتی تھی۔ نہ خوشگوار تھی، نہ بارش لانے والی، نہ درختوں کو بار آور کرنے والی، اور نہ ان فائدوں میں سے کوئی فائدہ اس میں تھا جن کے لیے ہوا کا چلنا مطلوب ہوتا ہے۔ دوسرے مقامات پر بتایا گیا ہے کہ یہ صرف بے خیر اور خشک ہی نہ تھی بلکہ نہایت شدید آندھی کی شکل میں آئی تھی جس نے لوگوں کو اٹھا اٹھا کر پٹخ دیا، اور یہ مسلسل آٹھ دن اور سات راتوں تک چلتی رہی، یہاں تک کہ قوم عاد کے پورے علاقے کو اس نے تہس نہس کر کے رکھ دیا (تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن، جلد چہارم، تفسیر سورہ حٰم السجدہ، حواشی نمبر 20۔21۔ الاحقاف، حواشی نمبر 25 تا 28)۔

آیت 42{ مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَیْئٍ اَتَتْ عَلَیْہِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتْہُ کَالرَّمِیْمِ۔ } ”وہ نہیں چھوڑتی تھی کسی شے کو جس پر وہ آجاتی تھی مگر اس کو چوراچورا کر کے رکھ دیتی تھی۔“
