Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور جنت متقین کے قریب لے آئی جائے گی،  کچھ بھی دور نہ ہوگی۔1

  1. یعنی جوں ہی کسی شخص کے متعلق اللہ تعالیٰ کی عدالت سے یہ فیصلہ ہوگا کہ وہ متقی اور جنت کا مستحق ہے، فی الفور وہ جنت کو اپنے سامنے موجود پائے گا۔ وہاں تک پہنچنے کے لیے اسے کوئی مسافت طے نہیں کرنی پڑے گی کہ پاؤں سے فل کر یا کسی سواری میں بیٹھ  کر سفر کرتا ہو وہاں جائے اور فیصلے کے وقت اور دخول جنت کے درمیان کوئی وقفہ ہو۔ بلکہ ادھر فیصلہ ہوا اور ادھر متقی جنت میں داخل ہو گیا۔ گویا وہ جنت میں پہنچایا نہیں گیا ہ بلکہ خود جنت ہی اٹھا کر اس کے پاس لے آئی گئی ہے۔ اس سے کچھ اندازہ کیا جا سکتا ہے کہ عالم آخرت میں زمان و مکان کے تصورات ہماری اس دنیا کے تصورات سے کس قدر مختلف ہوں گے۔ جلدی اور دیر اور دوری اور نزدیکی کے وہ سارے مفہومات وہاں بے معنی ہوں گے جن سے ہم اس دنیا میں واقف ہیں۔

اور جنت قریب لائی جائے گی اہل تقویٰ کے لیے کچھ بھی دور نہیں ہوگی۔

Commentary

آیت 31 { وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّـۃُ لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ غَیْرَ بَعِیْدٍ۔ } ”اور جنت قریب لائی جائے گی اہل تقویٰ کے لیے ‘ کچھ بھی دور نہیں ہوگی۔“
