- اِنَّبیشک
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
- اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے
- وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
- هَادُوْاجو یہودی بنے
- وَالصّٰبِـُٔوْنَاور جو صابی ہیں
- وَالنَّصٰرٰیاور جو نصاری ہیں
- مَنْجو کوئی
- اٰمَنَایمان لایا
- بِاللّٰهِاللہ پر
- وَالْیَوْمِاور یوم
- الْاٰخِرِآخرت پر
- وَعَمِلَاور اس نے عمل کیے
- صَالِحًااچھے
- فَلَاتو نہیں
- خَوْفٌکوئی خوف
- عَلَیْهِمْان پر
- وَلَااور نہ
- هُمْوہ
- یَحْزَنُوْنَغمگین ہوں گے

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
بیشک وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور وہ لوگ جو یہودی صابی اور نصاریٰ (عیسائی) ہوئے (اپنے اپنے زمانے میں جس قوم اور جس گروہ سے) جو کوئی ایمان لایا اللہ پر اور یوم آخرت پر اور اس نے اچھے عمل کیے تو ان پر نہ کوئی خوف ہوگا اور نہ وہ غم سے دوچار ہوں گے۔

Commentary
آیت 69 اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَالَّذِیْنَ ہَادُوْا وَالصّٰبِءُوْنَ وَالنَّصٰرٰی اس آیت میں تقریباً وہی مضمون ہے جو اس سے پہلے سورة البقرۃ کے آٹھویں رکوع آیت 62 میں آچکا ہے ‘ جس سے بعض لوگوں کو دھوکا ہوتا ہے کہ شاید نجات کے لیے ایمان بالرسالت کی ضرورت نہیں ہے ‘ حالانکہ سورة النساء آیات 50 ‘ 51 اور 52 میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کے مابین تفریق کرنے والوں کے لیے بہت واضح انداز میں فرمایا گیا ہے : اُوْلٰٓءِکَ ھُمُ الْکٰفِرُوْنَ حَقًّا وہی لوگ تو پکے کافر ہیں۔ دوسری بات یہاں ذہن میں یہ رکھیے کہ ان تمام سورتوں میں محمد رسول اللہ ﷺ پر ایمان لانے کی دعوت قدم قدم پر ہے ‘ بار بار ہے ‘ لہٰذا اس سے استغناء کا کوئی جواز رہتا ہی نہیں ‘ سوائے اس کے کہ کسی کی نیت میں فساد ہو اور دل میں کجی پیدا ہوچکی ہو۔ مَنْ اٰمَنَ باللّٰہِ وَالْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلاَ ہُمْ یَحْزَنُوْنَ یہاں وہ تمام لوگ مراد ہیں جو اپنے اپنے دور میں اللہ اور آخرت پر ایمان و یقین رکھتے تھے اور اپنے وقت کے نبی اور گزشتہ انبیاء پر ایمان رکھتے تھے۔ جیسے حضرت مسیح علیہ السلام سے ماقبل زمانہ میں یہودی تھے ‘ جو کتاب اللہ تورات پر یقین رکھتے تھے ‘ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو مانتے تھے ‘ دوسرے نبیوں کو مانتے تھے اور نیک عمل کرتے تھے۔ لیکن عمل کے معاملے میں اصل چیز اور اصل بنیاد اللہ کی رضا جوئی اور آخرت کی جزا طلبی ہے ‘ جس سے کوئی عمل ‘ عمل صالح بنتا ہے۔
