  1. یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
  2. الرَّسُوْلُرسول
  3. بَلِّغْپہنچا دیجیے
  4. مَاۤجو
  5. اُنْزِلَنازل کیا گیا
  6. اِلَیْكَآپ کی طرف
  7. مِنْسے
  8. رَّبِّكَ ؕآپ کے رب کی طرف سے
  9. وَاِنْاور اگر
  10. لَّمْنہ
  11. تَفْعَلْآپ نے کیا
  12. فَمَاتو نہیں
  13. بَلَّغْتَآپ نے پہنچایا
  14. رِسَالَتَهٗ ؕاس کے پیغام کو
  15. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  16. یَعْصِمُكَبچائے گا آپ کو
  17. مِنَسے
  18. النَّاسِ ؕلوگوں سے
  19. اِنَّبیشک
  20. اللّٰهَاللہ
  21. لَانہیں
  22. یَهْدِیہدایت دیتا
  23. الْقَوْمَقوم کو
  24. الْكٰفِرِیْنَکافر

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے پیغمبرؐ! جو کچھ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تم پر نازل کیا گیا ہے وہ لوگوں تک پہنچا دو اگر تم نے ایسا نہ کیا تو اس کی پیغمبری کا حق ادا نہ کیا اللہ تم کو لوگوں کے شر سے بچانے والا ہے یقین رکھو کہ وہ کافروں کو (تمہارے مقابلہ میں) کامیابی کی راہ ہرگز نہ دکھائے گا

Bayan-ul-Quran

اے رسول ﷺ پہنچا دیجیے جو کچھ نازل کیا گیا ہے آپ ﷺ کی طرف آپ ﷺ کے رب کی جانب سے اور اگر (بالفرض) آپ ﷺ نے ایسا نہ کیا تو گویا آپ ﷺ نے اس کی رسالت کا حق ادا نہیں کیا اور اللہ آپ ﷺ کی حفاظت کرے گا لوگوں سے یقیناً اللہ کافروں کو راہ یاب نہیں کرتا

Commentary

آیت 67 یٰٓاَیُّہَا الرَّسُوْلُ بَلِّغْ مَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْکَ مِنْ رَّبِّکَ ط وَاِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَہٗ ط اپنے مضمون کے اعتبار سے یہ بہت سخت آیت ہے۔ اس سے یہ بھی پتا چلتا ہے کہ اگر وحی میں کہیں رسول اللہ ﷺ پر تنقید نازل ہوئی ہے تو وہ بھی قرآن میں جوں کی توں موجود ہے۔ ایسا ہرگز نہیں کہ ایسی چیزوں کو چھپالیا گیا ہو۔ تیسویں پارے میں سورة عبس کی ابتدائی آیات عَبَسَ وَتَوَلّٰیٓ۔ اَنْ جَآءَ ہُ الْاَعْمٰی۔ بھی ویسے ہی موجود ہیں جیسے نازل ہوئی تھیں۔ سورة آل عمران میں بھی ہم پڑھ کر آئے ہیں کہ حضور ﷺ کو مخاطب کرکے فرمایا گیا : لَیْسَ لَکَ مِنَ الْاَمْرِشَیْءٌ۔۔ آیت 128۔ اس طرح کی آیات اپنی جگہ پر من وعن موجود ہیں ‘ اور یہ قرآن کے محفوظ من اللہ ہونے پر حجت ہیں۔ آیت زیر نظر میں تنبیہہ کی جا رہی ہے کہ وحئ الٰہی میں سے کوئی چیز کسی وجہ سے پہنچنے سے رہ نہ جائے۔ لوگوں کے خوف سے یا اپنی کسی مصلحت کی وجہ سے بالفرض اگر ایسا ہوا تو گویا آپ ﷺ فریضۂ رسالت کی ادائیگی میں کوتاہی کا ثبوت دیں گے۔ اَلْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ وَاِنْ تَرَقّٰی ‘ وَالرَّبُّ رَبٌّ وَاِنْ تَنَزَّل ! وَاللّٰہُ یَعْصِمُکَ مِنَ النَّاسِ ط آپ کو لوگوں سے ڈرنے کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں۔
