- وَیَقُوْلُاور کہتے ہیں
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
- اٰمَنُوْۤاجو ایمان لائے
- اَهٰۤؤُلَآءِکیا یہ ہیں
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
- اَقْسَمُوْاجنہوں نے قسمیں کھائیں
- بِاللّٰهِاللہ کی
- جَهْدَپکی
- اَیْمَانِهِمْ ۙقسمیں اپنی
- اِنَّهُمْبیشک وہ
- لَمَعَكُمْ ؕالبتہ تمہارے ساتھ ہیں
- حَبِطَتْضائع ہوگئے
- اَعْمَالُهُمْان کے اعمال
- فَاَصْبَحُوْاتو وہ ہوگئے
- خٰسِرِیْنَخسارہ پانے والے

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
اور اُس وقت اہل ایمان کہیں گے ”کیا یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کے نام سے کڑی کڑی قسمیں کھاکر یقین دلاتے تھے کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں“؟۔۔۔۔ان کے سب اعمال ضائع ہوگئے اور آخر کار یہ ناکام ہ نامراد ہوکر رہے۔1

یعنی جو کچھ انہوں نے اسلام کی پَیروی میں کیا، نمازیں پڑھیں ، روزے رکھے، زکوٰۃ دی، جہاد میں شریک ہوئے، قوانینِ اسلام کی اطاعت کی، یہ سب کچھ اس بنا پر ضائع ہو گیا کہ ان کے دلوں میں اسلام کے لیے خلوص نہ تھا اور وہ سب سے کٹ کر صرف ایک خدا کے ہو کر نہ رہ گئے تھے بلکہ اپنی دُنیا کی خاطر انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو خدا اور اس کے باغیوں کے درمیان آدھا آدھا بانٹ رکھا تھا۔
