  2. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  3. تَابُوْاجو توبہ کریں

  5. قَبْلِاس سے قبل
  6. اَنْکہ
  7. تَقْدِرُوْاتم قدرت پاجاؤ۔ غلبہ پاجاؤ
  8. عَلَیْهِمْ ۚان پر
  9. فَاعْلَمُوْۤاتو جان لو
  10. اَنَّبیشک
  11. اللّٰهَاللہ
  12. غَفُوْرٌبخشنے والا ہے
  13. رَّحِیْمٌمہربان ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

مگر جو لوگ توبہ کرلیں قبل اس کے کہ تم ان پر قابو پاوٴ۔۔۔۔تمہیں معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ اللہ معاف کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے۔1

  1. یعنی اگر وہ سعیِ فساد سے باز آگئے ہوں، اور صالح نظام کو درہم برہم کرنے یا اُلٹنے کی کوشش چھوڑ چکے ہوں ، اور اُن کا بعد کا طرزِ عمل ثابت کر رہا ہو کہ وہ امن پسند ، مطیع قانون، اور نیک چلن انسان بن چکے ہیں، اور اسے کے بعد اُن کے سابق جرائم کا پتہ چلے ، تو اُن سزا ؤ ں میں سے کوئی سزا اُن کو نہ دی جائے گی جو اُوپر بیان ہوئی ہیں۔ البتہ آدمیوں کے حقوق پر اگر کوئی دست درازی انہوں نے کی تھی تو اس کی ذمہ داری ان پر سے ساقط نہ ہو گی۔ مثلاً اگر کسی انسان کو انہوں نے قتل کیا تھا یا کسی کا مال لیا تھا یا کوئی اور جُرم انسانی جان و مال کے خلاف کیا تھا تو اسی جرم کے بارے میں فوجداری مقدمہ ان پر قائم کیا جائے گا ، لیکن بغاوت اور غدّاری  اور خدا  و  رسُول کے خلاف محاربہ کا کوئی مقدمہ نہ چلایا  جائے گا۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

سوائے ان کے جو توبہ کرلیں اس سے پہلے کہ تم ان پر قابو پاؤ پس جان لو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مغفرت فرمانے والا مہربان ہے۔

Commentary

آیت 34 اِلاَّ الَّذِیْنَ تَابُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَقْدِرُوْا عَلَیْہِمْ ج یعنی پکڑے جانے سے پہلے ایسے لوگ اگر توبہ کرلیں تو ان کے لیے رعایت کی گنجائش ہے ‘ لیکن جب پکڑ لیے گئے تو توبہ کا دروازہ بند ہوگیا۔ فَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ حضرت علی رض نے خوراج کے ساتھ یہی معاملہ کیا تھا کہ اگر تم اپنے غلط عقیدے کو اپنے تک رکھو تو تمہیں کچھ نہیں کہا جائے گا ‘ لیکن اگر تم خونریزی کرو گے ‘ قتل و غارت کرو گے تو پھر تمہارے ساتھ رعایت نہیں کی ‘ جاسکتی۔
