- فَكَیْفَتو کس طرح
- اِذَاجب
- تَوَفَّتْهُمُفوت کریں گے ان کو
- الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُفرشتے
- یَضْرِبُوْنَماریں گے
- وُجُوْهَهُمْان کے چہروں کو
- وَاَدْبَارَهُمْاور ان کی پیٹھوں کو

پھر اس وقت کیا حال ہو گا جب فرشتے ان کی روحیں قبض کریں گے اور ان کےمنہ اور پیٹھوں پر مارتے ہوئے انھیں لے جائیں گے؟1

یعنی دنیا میں تو یہ طرز عمل انہوں نے اس لیے اختیار کر لیا کہ اپنے مفادات کی حفاظت کرتے رہیں اور کفر و اسلام کی جنگ کے خطرات سے اپنے آپ کو بچائے رکھیں، لیکن مرنے کے بعد یہ خدا کی گرفت سے بچ کر کہاں جائیں گے؟ اس وقت تو ان کی کوئی تدبیر فرشتوں کی مار سے ان کو نہ بچا سکے گی۔ یہ آیت بھی ان آیات میں سے ہے جو عذاب برزخ (یعنی عذاب قبر) کی تصریح کرتے ہیں۔ اس سے صاف معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ موت کے وقت ہی کفار و منافقین پر عذاب شروع ہو جاتا ہے، اور یہ عذاب اس سزا سے مختلف چیز ہے جو قیامت میں ان کے مقدمے کا فیصلہ ہونے کے بعد ان کو دی جائے گی۔ مزید تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو النساء، آیت 97۔ الانعام، 93۔ 94۔ الانفال، 50۔ النحل، 28۔32۔ المومنون، 99۔ 100۔ یٰس، 26۔ 27 (مع حاشیہ 22،23) المومن، 46 (مع حاشیہ۔ 63)۔
