  1. فَلَوْلَاتو کیوں نہ
  2. نَصَرَهُمُمدد کی ان کی
  3. الَّذِیْنَان ہستیوں نے
  4. اتَّخَذُوْاجن کو پکڑا انہوں نے
  5. مِنْکے
  6. دُوْنِسوا
  7. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  8. قُرْبَانًاتقرب کے لیے
  9. اٰلِهَةً ؕالہ۔ معبود
  10. بَلْبلکہ
  11. ضَلُّوْاوہ کھو گئے
  12. عَنْهُمْ ۚان سے
  13. وَذٰلِكَاور یہ
  14. اِفْكُهُمْان کا جھوٹ تھا
  15. وَمَااور جو کچھ
  16. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  17. یَفْتَرُوْنَوہ گھڑا کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر کیوں نہ اُن ہستیوں نے اُن کی مدد کی جنہیں اللہ کو چھوڑ کر انہوں نے تقرّب اِلی اللہ کا ذریعہ سمجھتے ہوئے معبُود بنا لیا تھا؟1 بلکہ وہ تو ان سے کھوئے گئے، اور یہ تھا اُں کے جھُوٹ اور اُن بناوٹی عقیدوں کا انجام جو انہوں نے گھڑ رکھے تھے

  1. یعنی ان ہستیوں کے ساتھ عقیدت کی ابتداء تو انہوں نے اس خیال سے کی تھی کہ یہ خدا کے مقبول بندے ہیں، ان کے وسیلے سے خدا کے ہاں ہماری رسائی ہو گی۔ مگر بڑھتے بڑھتے انہوں نے خود انہی ہستیوں کو معبود بنا لیا، ان ہی کو مدد کے لیے پکارنے لگے، انہی سے دعائیں مانگنے لگے، اور ان ہی کے متعلق یہ سمجھ لیا کہ یہ صالح تصرف ہیں، ہماری فریاد رسی و مشکل کشائی ہی کریں گے۔ اس گمراہی سے ان کو نکالنے کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی آیات اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعہ سے بھیج کر طرح طرح سے ان کو سمجھانے کی کوشش کی، مگر وہ اپنے ان جھوٹے خداؤں کی بندگی پر اڑے رہے اور اصرار کیے چلے گیے کہ ہم اللہ کے بجائے ان ہی کا دامن تھامے رہیں گے۔ اب بتاؤ ان مشرک قوموں پر جب ان کی گمراہی کی وجہ سے اللہ کا عذاب آیا تو ان کے وہ فریاد رس اور مشکل کشا معبود کہاں  مر رہے تھے؟ کیوں نہ اس برے وقت میں وہ ان کی دست گیری کو آئے۔
