Commentary
آیت 27 { وَلَقَدْ اَہْلَکْنَا مَا حَوْلَکُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرٰی } ”اور ہم نے ہلاک کیا ہے بہت سی ایسی بستیوں کو جو تمہارے اردگرد آباد تھیں“ وہ تمام اقوام جن کے انجام کا ذکر قرآن میں تکرار کے ساتھ آیا ہے جزیرہ نمائے عرب کے اردگرد کے علاقوں میں آباد تھیں۔ احقاف یعنی قوم عاد کا علاقہ مکہ سے جنوب مشرق میں واقع تھا۔ قوم ثمود کا علاقہ مدائن صالح مکہ سے شمال میں تھا اور شمال ہی کے رخ میں حضرت شعیب علیہ السلام کی قوم کا علاقہ مدین تھا۔ جبکہ بحیرئہ مردار Dead Sea کے ساحل پر حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کی قوم آباد تھی۔ اس قوم کے شہروں کے کھنڈرات بھی بحیرہ مردار کے اندر سے دریافت ہوچکے ہیں۔ { وَصَرَّفْنَا الْاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّہُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ } ”اور ہم نے پھیر پھیر کر ان کو اپنی آیات سنائیں تاکہ وہ رجوع کریں۔“
