- فَلَمَّاتو جب
- رَاَوْهُانہوں نے دیکھا
- عَارِضًااس بادل کو
- مُّسْتَقْبِلَآنے والا
- اَوْدِیَتِهِمْ ۙان کی وادیوں کو
- قَالُوْاانہوں نے کہا
- هٰذَایہ
- عَارِضٌبادل ہے
- مُّمْطِرُنَا ؕمینہ برسانے والا ہے ہم کو
- بَلْنہیں بلکہ
- هُوَوہ
- مَاوہ ہے جس کی
- اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْتم جلدی مچا رہے ہو
- بِهٖ ؕساتھ اس کے
- رِیْحٌایک ہوا ہے
- فِیْهَااس میں
- عَذَابٌعذاب ہے
- اَلِیْمٌدردناک

پھر جب انہوں نے اُس عذاب کو اپنی وادیوں کی طرف آتے دیکھا تو کہنے لگو”یہ بادل ہے جو ہم کو سیراب کر دے گا۔“۔۔۔۔ ”نہیں،1 بلکہ یہ وہی چیز ہے جس کے لیے تم جلدی مچا رہے تھے۔ یہ ہوا کا طوفان ہے جس میں دردناک عذاب چلا آرہا ہے

یہاں اس امر کی کوئی تصریح نہیں ہے کہ ان کو یہ جواب کس نے دیا۔ کلام کے انداز سے خود بخود یہ مترشح ہوتا ہے کہ وہ جواب تھا جو اصل صورت حال نے عملاً ان کو دیا۔ وہ سمجھتے تھے کہ یہ بادل ہے جو ان کی وادیوں کو سیراب کرنے آیا ہے اور حقیقت میں تھا وہ ہوا کا طوفان جو انہیں تباہ و برباد کرنے کے لیے چلا آ رہا تھا۔
