  1. وَیَوْمَاور جس دن
  2. یُعْرَضُپیش کیے جائیں گے
  3. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  4. كَفَرُوْاجنہوں نے کفر کیا

  6. النَّارِ ؕآگ (پر)
  7. اَذْهَبْتُمْ(کہا جائے گا) لے گئے تم
  8. طَیِّبٰتِكُمْاپنی نعمتیں
  9. فِیْمیں
  10. حَیَاتِكُمُاپنی زندگی میں
  11. الدُّنْیَادنیا کی
  12. وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْاور فائدہ اٹھا لیا تم نے
  13. بِهَا ۚساتھ ان کے
  14. فَالْیَوْمَتو آج کے دن
  15. تُجْزَوْنَتم جزا دیئے جاؤ گے
  16. عَذَابَعذاب
  17. الْهُوْنِرسوائی کا
  18. بِمَابوجہ اس کے جو
  19. كُنْتُمْتھے تم
  20. تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَتم تکبر کرتے
  21. فِیمیں
  22. الْاَرْضِزمین (میں)
  23. بِغَیْرِنا
  24. الْحَقِّحق
  25. وَبِمَااور بوجہ اس کے جو
  26. كُنْتُمْتھے تم
  27. تَفْسُقُوْنَتم نافرمانی کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر جب یہ کافر آگ کے سامنے لاکھڑے کیے جائیں گے تو ان سے کہا جائے گا”تم اپنے حصّے کی نعمتیں اپنی دنیا کی زندگی میں ختم کر چکے اور ان کا لُطف تم نے اُٹھا لیا، اب جو  تکبّر تم زمین میں کسی حق کے بغیر کرتے رہے اور جو نافرمانیاں تم نے کیں اُں کی پاداش میں آج تم کو ذلّت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا۔“1

  1. ذلت کا عذاب اس تکبر کی مناسبت سے ہے جو انہوں نے کیا۔ وہ اپنے آپ کو بڑی چیز سمجھتے تھے۔ ان کا خیال یہ تھا کہ رسول پر ایمان لا کر غریب اور فقیر مومنوں کے گروہ میں شامل ہو جانا ان کی شان سے گری ہوئی بات ہے۔ وہ اس زعم میں مبتلا تھے کہ جس چیز کو چند غلاموں اور بے نوا انسانوں نے مانا ہے اسے ہم جیسے بڑے لوگ مان لیں گے تو ہماری عزت کو بٹا لگ جائے گا۔ اس لیے اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو آخرت میں ذلیل و خوار کرے گا اور ان کے غرور کو خاک میں ملا کررکھ دے گا۔

اور جس دن یہ کافر پیش کیے جائیں گے آگ پر (اُس وقت ان سے کہا جائے گا :) تم اپنے حصے کی اچھی چیزیں اپنی دنیا کی زندگی میں لے چکے اور ان سے تم نے خوب فائدہ اٹھا لیا تو آج تمہیں ذلت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا بسبب اس تکبر کے جو تم زمین میں ناحق کرتے رہے ہو اور بسبب ان نافرمانیوں کے جو تم کرتے رہے ہو

Commentary

آیت 20 { وَیَوْمَ یُعْرَضُ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا عَلَی النَّارِ } ”اور جس دن یہ کافر پیش کیے جائیں گے آگ پر۔“ { اَذْہَبْتُمْ طَیِّبٰتِکُمْ فِیْ حَیَاتِکُمُ الدُّنْیَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِہَا } ”اُس وقت ان سے کہا جائے گا : تم اپنے حصے کی اچھی چیزیں اپنی دنیا کی زندگی میں لے چکے اور ان سے تم نے خوب فائدہ اٹھا لیا۔“ تم دنیا میں خوب عیش کرچکے ہو ‘ حلال و حرام کی تمیز سے بالاتر ہو کر تم نے وہاں بہت مزے اڑائے ہیں۔ { فَالْیَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْہُوْنِ بِمَا کُنْتُمْ تَسْتَکْبِرُوْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِ بِغَیْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا کُنْتُمْ تَفْسُقُوْنَ } ”تو آج تمہیں ذلت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا بسبب اس تکبر کے جو تم زمین میں ناحق کرتے رہے ہو اور بسبب ان نافرمانیوں کے جو تم کرتے رہے ہو۔“
