  1. اَللّٰهُاللہ
  2. الَّذِیْوہ ذات ہے
  3. سَخَّرَجس نے مسخر کیا
  4. لَكُمُتمہارے لیے
  5. الْبَحْرَسمندر کو
  6. لِتَجْرِیَتاکہ چلیں
  7. الْفُلْكُکشتیاں
  8. فِیْهِاس میں
  9. بِاَمْرِهٖساتھ اس کے حکم کے
  10. وَلِتَبْتَغُوْااور تاکہ تم تلاش کرو
  11. مِنْمیں
  12. فَضْلِهٖاس کے فضل
  13. وَلَعَلَّكُمْاور تاکہ تم
  14. تَشْكُرُوْنَتم شکرادا کرو

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ اللہ ہے تو ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے سمندر کو مسخّر کیاتاکہ اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں اُس میں چلیں1 اور تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو2 اور شکر گزار رہو

Bayan-ul-Quran

اللہ ہی ہے جس نے مسخر کردیا تمہارے لیے سمندر کو تاکہ اس میں کشتیاں چلیں اس کے حکم سے تاکہ تم تلاش کرو اس کا فضل اور تاکہ تم شکر ادا کرو

Commentary

آیت 12 { اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیْ سَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِیَ الْفُلْکُ فِیْہِ بِاَمْرِہٖ } ”اللہ ہی ہے جس نے مسخر کردیا تمہارے لیے سمندر کو تاکہ اس میں کشتیاں چلیں اس کے حکم سے“ { وَلِتَبْتَغُوْا مِنْ فَضْلِہٖ وَلَعَلَّکُمْ تَشْکُرُوْنَ } ”تاکہ تم تلاش کرو اس کا فضل اور تاکہ تم شکر ادا کرو۔“ اللہ کا فضل تلاش کرنے سے یہاں تجارت کے ذریعے روزی تلاش کرنا مراد ہے ‘ جبکہ کشتیاں اور جہاز سمندروں اور دریائوں میں سامانِ تجارت کی نقل و حمل کا بہت بڑا ذریعہ ہیں۔
