ان کے پیچھے جہنم ہے اور جو کچھ انہوں نے کمایا ہے وہ ان کے ذرا بھی کام نہیں آسکے گا اور نہ وہ جن کو انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا مدد گار بنا رکھا ہے اور ان کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہوگا

Commentary
آیت 10 { مِنْ وَّرَآئِہِمْ جَہَنَّمُ } ”ان کے پیچھے جہنم ہے۔“ یعنی جہنم ان کی منتظر ہے۔ -۔ -۔ -۔ - وَرَاء کا لفظ ہر اس چیز کے لیے بولا جاتا ہے جو آدمی کی نظر سے اوجھل ہو خواہ آگے ہو یا پیچھے ہو۔ لہٰذا ان الفاظ کا دوسرا ترجمہ یہ بھی ہوسکتا ہے کہ ”ان کے آگے جہنم ہے“ جس میں وہ گرنے والے ہیں۔ { وَلَا یُغْنِیْ عَنْہُمْ مَّا کَسَبُوْا شَیْئًا } ”اور جو کچھ انہوں نے کمایا ہے وہ ان کے ذرا بھی کام نہیں آسکے گا“ دُنیا میں انہوں نے جو کچھ کمایا ہے اور مال و دولت جمع کیا ہے ‘ یہ سب کچھ انہیں جہنم سے نہ بچا سکے گا۔ { وَّلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰہِ اَوْلِیَآئَج وَلَہُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِیْمٌ } ”اور نہ وہ جن کو انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا مدد گار بنا رکھا ہے ‘ اور ان کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہوگا۔“ اللہ کے سوا انہوں نے جو جھوٹے معبود بنا رکھے ہیں اور ان کی سفارش اور شفاعت کا انہیں زعم بھی ہے ‘ وہ بھی اس دن انہیں جہنم کے عذاب سے نہیں بچا سکیں گے۔
