  2. اِلٰهَکوئی الہ برحق
  3. اِلَّامگر
  4. هُوَوہی
  5. یُحْیٖوہ زندہ کرتا ہے
  6. وَیُمِیْتُ ؕاور وہ موت دیتا ہے
  7. رَبُّكُمْرب تمہارا
  8. وَرَبُّاور رب تمہارے
  9. اٰبَآىِٕكُمُآباؤاجداد کا۔
  10. الْاَوَّلِیْنَپہلوں کا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کوئی معبُود اُس کے سوا  نہیں ہے۔1 وہی زندگی عطا کرتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے۔2 تمہارا ربّ اور تمہارے اُن اسلاف کا ربّ جو پہلے گزر چکے ہیں۔3

  1. معبود سےمراد ہے حقیقی معبود جس کا حق یہ ہے کہ اس کی عبادت (بندگی و پرستش ) جائے۔

  2. یہ دلیل ہے اس امر کی کہ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اور نہیں ہوسکتا ۔ اس لیے کہ یہ بات سراسر عقل کے خلاف ہے کہ جس نے بے جان مادوں میں جان ڈال کر تم کو جیتا جاگتا انسان بنایا، اور جو اس امر کے کلی اختیارات رکھتا ہے کہ جب تم چاہے تمہاری اس زندگی کو باقی رکھے اور جب چاہے اسے ختم کر دے، اس کی تم بندگی نہ کرو ، یا اس کے سوا کسی اور کی بندگی کرو، یا اس کے ساتھ دوسروں کی بندگی بھی کرنے لگو۔

  3. اس میں ایک لطیف اشارہ ہےاس امر کی طرف کہ تمہارے جن اسلاف نے اس کو چھوڑ کر دوسرے معبود بنائے ، ان کا رب بھی حقیقت میں وہی تھا ۔انہوں نے اپنے اصلی رب کے سوا دوسروں کی بندگی کر کے کوئی صحیح کام نہ کیا تھا کہ ان کی تقلید کرنے میں تم حق بجانب ہو اور ان کے فعل کو اپنے مذہب کے درست ہونے کی دلیل ٹھیرا  سکو۔ ان کو لازم تھا کہ وہ صرف اسی کی بندگی کرتے کیونکہ وہی ان کا رب تھا ۔ لیکن اگر انہوں نے ایسا نہیں کیا تو تمہیں لازم ہے کہ سب کی بندگی چھوڑ کر اسی ایک کی بندگی اختیار کرو کیونکہ وہی تمہارا رب ہے۔

اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہی زندہ رکھتا ہے اور وہی مارتا ہے وہ تمہارا بھی رب ہے اور تمہارے پہلے آباء واجداد کا بھی رب ہے

Commentary

آیت 8 { لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ یُحْیٖ وَیُمِیْتُ } ”اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ‘ وہی زندہ رکھتا ہے اور وہی مارتا ہے۔“ { رَبُّکُمْ وَرَبُّ اٰبَآئِکُمُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ } ”وہ تمہارا بھی رب ہے اور تمہارے پہلے آباء واجداد کا بھی رب ہے۔“
