اگر تم سچے ہو تو اُٹھا لاوٴ ہمارے باپ دادا کو۔“1

۔ ان کا استدلال یہ تھا کہ ہم نے کبھی مرنے کے بعد کسی کو دوبارہ جی اٹھتے نہیں دیکھا ہے، اس لیے ہم یہ یقین رکھتے ہیں کہ مرنے کے دوسری کوئی زندگی نہیں ہوگی۔ تم لوگ اگر یہ دعویٰ کرتے ہو کہ دوسری زندگی ہوگی تو ہمارے اجداد کو قبروں سے اٹھا لاؤ تاکہ ہمیں زندگی بعد موت کا یقین آ جائے۔ یہ کام تم نے نہ کیا تو ہم سمجھیں گے کہ تمہارا دعویٰ بے بنیاد ہے۔ یہ گوایا ان کے نزدیک حیات بعد الموت کی تردید میں بڑی پختہ دلیل تھی۔ حالاں کہ سراسر مہمل تھی ۔ آخر ان سے یہ کہا کس نے تھا کہ مرنے والے دوبارہ زندہ ہو کر اسی دنیا میں واپس آئیں گے؟ اور نبی ﷺ یا کسی مسلمان نے یہ دعویٰ کب کیا تھا کہ ہم مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والے ہیں؟

Commentary
آیت 36 { فَاْتُوْا بِاٰبَآئِنَآ اِنْ کُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ } ”تو لائو ذرا ہمارے آباء و اَجداد کو ‘ اگر تم سچے ہو !“ اپنے موقف کے حمایت میں وہ لوگ یہ دلیل دیتے کہ اگر تم بعث بعد الموت کے عقیدے کو سچ مانتے ہو تو ذرا ہمارے فوت شدہ آباء و اَجداد کو زندہ کر کے دکھائو !
