Commentary
آیت 15 { اِنَّا کَاشِفُوا الْعَذَابِ قَلِیْلًا اِنَّکُمْ عَآئِدُوْنَ } ”ہم دور کردیں گے اس عذاب کو تھوڑی دیر کے لیے ‘ تو تم لوٹ کر وہی کچھ کرو گے جو پہلے کر رہے تھے۔“ جیسے آلِ فرعون کے معاملے میں ہم سورة الاعراف کے چھٹے رکوع میں پڑھ چکے ہیں کہ ان پر پے در پے سات عذاب بھیجے گئے تھے۔ ہر مرتبہ انہوں نے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے درخواست کی کہ وہ ان کے لیے دعا کریں اور ہر بار وعدہ کیا کہ اگر یہ عذاب ٹل گیا تو وہ ایمان لے آئیں گے۔ مگر جب عذاب ٹل جاتا تو وہ اپنے وعدے سے ِپھر جاتے تھے۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رض اس آیت کو اپنے مذکورہ موقف کے حق میں بطور دلیل پیش کرتے ہیں کہ اگر اس دھویں سے مراد قبل از قیامت کا دھواں ہوتا تو اس کے دور کیے جانے کا کوئی سوال نہیں تھا۔ اس لیے اس سے مراد اسی نوعیت کا عذاب ہے جو کسی رسول کی بعثت کے بعد لوگوں کو خواب غفلت سے جگانے کے لیے بھیجا جاتا ہے اور جس کا مقصد اور اصول سورة السجدۃ میں اس طرح بیان فرمایا گیا ہے : { وَلَنُذِیْقَنَّہُمْ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَدْنٰی دُوْنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَکْبَرِ لَعَلَّھُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ۔ ”اور ہم انہیں لازماً چکھائیں گے قریب کے کچھ چھوٹے عذاب بڑے عذاب سے پہلے تاکہ یہ باز آجائیں۔“
