  1. فَاَهْلَكْنَاۤتو ہلاک کردیا ہم نے
  2. اَشَدَّسب سے طاقتور کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر جو لوگ اِن سے بدرجہا زیادہ طاقتور تھے اُنہیں ہم نے ہلاک کر دیا ، پچھلی قوموں کی مثالیں گزر چکی ہیں۔1

  1. یعنی خاص لوگوں کی بیہودگی کا نتیجہ یہ کبھی نہیں ہوا کہ پوری نوع انسانی کو نبوت اور کتاب کی رہنمائی سے محروم کر  دیا جاتا ، بلکہ اس کا نتیجہ ہمیشہ یہی ہوا ہے کہ جو لوگ باطل پرستی کے نشے اور اپنی وقت کے گھمنڈ میں بد مست ہو کر انبیاء کا مذاق اڑانے سے باز نہ آئے انہیں آخر کار تباہ کر دیا گیا۔ پھر جب اللہ کا قہر ٹوٹ پڑا تو جس وقت کے بل پر یہ قریش کے چھوٹے چھوٹے سردار اکڑ رہے ہیں اس سے ہزاروں گُنی زیادہ طاقت رکھنے والے بھی مچھر اور پسّو کی طرح مسل کر رکھ دیئے  گئے۔

پھر ہم نے انہیں ہلاک کردیا جو ان سے بہت زیادہ بڑھ کر تھے قوت میں اور پہلے لوگوں کی مثالیں گزر چکی ہیں

Commentary

آیت 8 { فَاَہْلَکْنَآ اَشَدَّ مِنْہُمْ بَطْشًا } ”پھر ہم نے انہیں ہلاک کردیا جو ان سے بہت زیادہ بڑھ کر تھے قوت میں“ ہم نے ماضی میں بہت سی ایسی قوموں کو بھی نیست و نابود کردیا جو قریش ِمکہ ّسے کہیں بڑھ کر زور آور تھیں اور ان کی پکڑ بہت مضبوط تھی۔ تو یہ کس کھیت کی مولی ہیں ؟ { وَّمَضٰی مَثَلُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ } ”اور پہلے لوگوں کی مثالیں گزر چکی ہیں۔“ اقوامِ ماضی کے تفصیلی واقعات اور ان کے انجام کے بارے میں حقائق ان لوگوں کو بار بار بتائے جا چکے ہیں۔
