Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کیوں نہ اس پر سونے کے کنگن اُتارے گئے؟ یا فرشتوں کا ایک دستہ اس کی اردلی میں نہ آیا؟“1

  1. قدیم زمانے میں جب کسی شخص کو کسی علاقے کی گورنری، یا کسی غیر ملک کی سفارت کے منصب پر مقرر کیا جاتا تو بادشاہ کی طرف سے اس کو خلعت عطا ہوتا تھا جس میں سونے کے کڑے یا کنگن بھی شامل ہوتے تھے ، اور اس کے ساتھ سپاہیوں، چوبداروں اور خدام کا ا یک دستہ بھی ہوتا تھا تاکہ اس کا رعب اور دبدبہ قائم ہو اور اس بادشاہ کی شان و شوکت کا اظہار ہو جس کی طرف سے وہ مامور ہو کر آ رہا ہے ۔ فرعون کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ اگر واقعی موسیٰ (علیہ السلام ) کو آسمان کے بادشاہ نے ایں جانب کے پاس اپنا سفیر بنا کر بھیجا تھا تو اسے خلعت شاہی ملا ہوتا اور فرشتوں کے پرے کے پرے اس کے ساتھ آئے ہوتے ۔ یہ کیا بات ہوئی کہ ایک ملنگ ہاتھ میں لاٹھی لیے آ کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ میں رب العالمیں کا رسول ہوں۔

تو کیوں نہیں اتارے گئے اس پر سونے کے کنگن ؟ یا اس کے ساتھ فرشتے چلے آ رہے ہوتے صفیں باندھے ہوئے

Commentary

آیت 53 { فَلَوْلَآ اُلْقِیَ عَلَیْہِ اَسْوِرَۃٌ مِّنْ ذَہَبٍ } ”تو کیوں نہیں اتارے گئے اس پر سونے کے کنگن ؟“ اگر یہ واقعی اللہ کا فرستادہ ہے تو اللہ نے اسے سونے کے کنگن کیوں نہ مہیا کیے کہ ایک بادشاہ کے مقابلے میں جا رہے ہو ‘ کم از کم یہ سونے کے کنگن ہی پہنتے جائو۔ { اَوْ جَآئَ مَعَہُ الْمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ مُقْتَرِنِیْنَ } ”یا اس کے ساتھ فرشتے چلے آ رہے ہوتے صفیں باندھے ہوئے !“
