Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

تم سے پہلے ہم نے جتنے رسُول بھیجے تھے اُن سب سے پوچھ دیکھو، کیا ہم نے خدائے رحمٰن کے سوا کچھ دُوسرے معبُود بھی مقرر کیے تھے کہ اُن کی بندگی کی جائے؟1

  1. رسولوں سے پوچھنے کا مطلب ان کی لائی ہوئی کتابوں سے معلوم کرنا ہے ۔ جس طرح : فَاِنْتَنَا زَعْتُمْ فِیْ شَیْ ءٍ فَرُدُّ وْ ہُ اِلَی اللہِ وَ ا لرَّ سُوْلِ کا مطلب یہ نہیں ہے کہ کسی معاملہ میں اگر تمہارے درمیان نزاع ہو تو اسے اللہ اور رسول کے پاس لے جاؤ ، بلکہ یہ ہے کہ اس میں اللہ کی کتاب اور اس کے رسول کی سنت کی طرف رجوع کرو، اسی طرح رسولوں سے پوچھنے کا مطلب بھی یہ نہیں ہے کہ جو رسول دنیا سے تشریف لے جا چکے ہیں ان سب کے پاس جا کر دریافت کرو، بلکہ اس کا صحیح مطلب یہ ہے کہ خدا کے رسول دنیا میں جو تعلیمات چھوڑ گئے ہیں ان سب میں تلاش کر کے دیکھ لو، آخر کس نے یہ بات سکھائی تھی کہ اللہ جل شانہ کے سوا بھی کوئی عبادت کا مستحق ہے ؟
