Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِسی طرح تم سے پہلے جس بستی میں بھی ہم نے کوئی نذیر بھیجا، اُس کے کھاتے پیتے لوگوں نے یہی کہا کہ ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو ایک طریقے پر پایا ہے اور ہم اُنہی کے نقشِ قدم کی پیروی کررہے ہیں۔1

  1. ۔ یہ بات قابل غور ہے کہ انبیاء کے مقابلے میں اٹھ کر باپ دادا کی تقلید کا جھنڈا بلند کرنے والے ہر زمانے میں اپنی قوم کے کھاتے پیتے لوگ ہی کیوں رہے ہیں ؟ آخر کیا وجہ ہے کہ وہی حق کی مخالفت میں پیش پیش اور قائم شدہ جاہلیت کو برقرار رکھنے کی کوشش میں  سرگرم رہے ،اور وہی عوام کو بہکا اور بھڑکا کر انبیاء علیہم السلام کے خلاف فتنے اٹھاتے رہے ؟ اس کے بنیادی وجوہ دو تھے ۔ ایک یہ کہ کھاتے پیتے اور خوشحال طبقے اپنی دنیا بنانے اور اس سے لطف اندوز ہونے میں اس قدر منہمک ہوتے ہیں کہ حق اور باطل کی، بزعم خویش ، دُور از کار بحث میں سر کھپانے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہوتے ۔ ان کی تن آسانی اور ذہنی کاہلی انہیں دین کے معاملے میں انتہائی بے فکر ، اور اس کے ساتھ عملاً قدامت پسند (Conservative ) بنا دیتی ہے تاکہ جو حالت پہلے سے قائم چلی آ رہی ہے وہی، قطع نظر اس سے کہ وہ حق ہے یا باطل ، جوں کی  توں قائم رہے اور کسی نئے نظام کے متعلق سوچنے کی زحمت نہ اٹھانی پڑے ۔ دوسرے یہ کہ قائم شدہ نظام سے ان کے مفاد پوری طرح وابستہ ہو چکے ہوتے ہیں، اور انبیاء علیہم السلام کے پیش کردہ نظام کو دیکھ کر پہلی ہی نظر میں وہ بھانپ جاتے ہیں کہ یہ آئے گا تو ان کی چودھراہٹ کی بساط بھی لپیٹ کر رکھ دی جائے گی اور ان کے لیے اکل حرام اور فعل حرام کی بھی کوئی آزادی باقی نہ رہے گی۔ (مزید تفصیل کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن،جلد اول،ص579۔جلد دوم ، ص 40۔  45۔49۔56۔66۔71۔333۔338۔606۔جلدسوم،ص273۔274۔277۔279۔  280۔288۔ جلد چہارم، سبا آیت 34، حاشیہ 54) ۔

اور (اے نبی ﷺ !) اسی طرح ہم نے نہیں بھیجا آپ سے پہلے کسی بستی میں کسی خبردار کرنے والے کو مگر اس کے خوشحال لوگوں نے یہی کہا کہ ہم نے پایا ہے اپنے آباء و اَجداد کو ایک راستے پر اور اب ہم ان ہی کے نقش ِقدم کی اقتدا کر رہے ہیں

Commentary

آیت 23 { وَکَذٰلِکَ مَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِکَ فِیْ قَرْیَۃٍ مِّنْ نَّذِیْرٍاِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوْہَآ } ”اور اے نبی ﷺ ! اسی طرح ہم نے نہیں بھیجا آپ سے پہلے کسی بستی میں کسی خبردار کرنے والے کو مگر اس کے خوشحال لوگوں نے یہی کہا“ { اِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ اٰبَآئَ نَا عَلٰٓی اُمَّۃٍ وَّاِنَّا عَلٰٓی اٰثٰرِہِمْ مُّقْتَدُوْنَ } ”کہ ہم نے پایا ہے اپنے آباء و اَجداد کو ایک راستے پر اور اب ہم ان ہی کے نقش ِقدم کی اقتدا کر رہے ہیں۔“
