Surah 43, ayah 20

  1. وَقَالُوْااور وہ کہتے ہیں
  2. لَوْاگر
  3. شَآءَچاہتا
  4. الرَّحْمٰنُرحمن
  5. مَانہ
  6. عَبَدْنٰهُمْ ؕہم عبادت کرتے ان کی
  7. مَانہیں
  8. لَهُمْان کے لیے
  9. بِذٰلِكَساتھ اس کے
  10. مِنْکوئی
  11. عِلْمٍ ۗعلم
  12. اِنْنہیں
  13. هُمْوہ
  14. اِلَّامگر
  15. یَخْرُصُوْنَاندازے لگا رہے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ کہتے ہیں”اگر خدائے رحمٰن چاہتا (کہ ہم اُن کی عبادت نہ کریں)تو ہم کبھی اُن کو نہ پُوجتے۔“1 یہ اس معاملے کی حقیقت کو قطعی نہیں جانتے، محض تیر تُکّے لڑاتے ہیں

  1. یہ اپنی گمراہی پر تقدیر سے ان کا استدلال تھا جو ہمیشہ سے غلط کار لوگوں کا شیوہ رہا ہے ۔ ان کا کہنا یہ تھا کہ ہمارا فرشتوں کی عبادت کرنا اسی لیے تو ممکن ہوا کہ اللہ نے ہمیں یہ کام کرنے دیا ۔ اگر وہ نہ چاہتا کہ ہم یہ فعل کریں تو  ہم کسے کر سکتے تھے پھر مدت ہائے دراز سے ہمارے ہاں یہ کام ہو رہا ہے اور اللہ کی طرف سے اس پر کوئی عذاب نازل نہ ہوا۔ اس کے  معنی یہ ہیں کہ اللہ کو ہمارا یہ کام نا پسند نہیں ہے ۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر رحمان چاہتا تو ہم ان کی بندگی نہ کرتے ان کے پاس اس کے لیے کوئی علمی سند نہیں ہے وہ تو محض اٹکل کے تیر چلا رہے ہیں

Commentary

آیت 20 { وَقَالُوْا لَوْ شَآئَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنٰہُمْ } ”اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر رحمان چاہتا تو ہم ان کی بندگی نہ کرتے۔“ { مَا لَہُمْ بِذٰلِکَ مِنْ عِلْمٍق اِنْ ہُمْ اِلَّا یَخْرُصُوْنَ } ”ان کے پاس اس کے لیے کوئی علمی سند نہیں ہے ‘ وہ تو محض اٹکل کے تیر چلا رہے ہیں۔“
