- وَلَوْاور اگر
- شَآءَچاہتا
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- لَجَعَلَهُمْالبتہ بنادیتا ان کو
- اُمَّةًامت
- وَّاحِدَةًایک ہی
- وَّلٰكِنْلیکن
- یُّدْخِلُوہ داخل کرے گا۔ وہ داخل کرتا ہے
- مَنْجس کو
- یَّشَآءُچاہے گا۔ چاہتا ہے
- فِیْمیں
- رَحْمَتِهٖ ؕاپنی رحمت
- وَالظّٰلِمُوْنَاور ظالم
- مَانہیں
- لَهُمْان کے لیے
- مِّنْکوئی
- وَّلِیٍّدوست
- وَّلَااو ر نہ
- نَصِیْرٍکوئی مددگار

Bayan-ul-Quran
اور اگر اللہ چاہتا تو انہیں ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا لیکن اللہ داخل کرتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں جس کو چاہتا ہے۔ اور جو ظالم (کافر و مشرک) ہوں گے ان کے لیے نہ کوئی حمایتی ہوگا اور نہ کوئی مددگار۔

Commentary
آیت 8 { وَلَوْ شَآئَ اللّٰہُ لَجَعَلَہُمْ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً } ”اور اگر اللہ چاہتا تو انہیں ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا“ اللہ ایسے بھی کرسکتا تھا کہ دنیا کے تمام انسان مومن ہوتے۔ { وَّلٰکِنْ یُّدْخِلُ مَنْ یَّشَآئُ فِیْ رَحْمَتِہٖ } ”لیکن اللہ داخل کرتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں جس کو چاہتا ہے۔“ ان الفاظ کا ترجمہ یوں بھی ہوسکتا ہے : ”لیکن اللہ داخل کرتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں اس کو جو چاہتا ہے“۔ یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی رحمت یا مغفرت اور جنت کی نعمتیں صرف اسی کو عطا کرتا ہے جو ان کی خواہش رکھتا ہو اور اپنی محنت کی صورت میں ان کی قیمت بھی ادا کرنے کو تیار ہو۔ اس حوالے سے سورة التوبہ کی آیت 111 کے یہ الفاظ بھی ہر اہل ِایمان کے پیش نظررہنے چاہئیں : { اِنَّ اللّٰہَ اشْتَرٰی مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَنْفُسَہُمْ وَاَمْوَالَہُمْ بِاَنَّ لَہُمُ الْجَنَّۃَط } ”یقینا اللہ نے خرید لی ہیں اہل ایمان سے ان کی جانیں بھی اور ان کے مال بھی اس قیمت پر کہ ان کے لیے جنت ہے۔“ { وَالظّٰلِمُوْنَ مَا لَہُمْ مِّنْ وَّلِیٍّ وَّلَا نَصِیْرٍ } ”اور جو ظالم کافر و مشرک ہوں گے ان کے لیے نہ کوئی حمایتی ہوگا اور نہ کوئی مددگار۔“
