Surah 42, ayah 45

  1. وَتَرٰىهُمْاور تم دیکھو گے ان کو
  2. یُعْرَضُوْنَوہ پیش کیے جائیں گے
  3. عَلَیْهَااس پر (یعنی جہنم پر)
  4. خٰشِعِیْنَجھکنے والے۔ دبنے والے
  5. مِنَوجہ سے
  6. الذُّلِّذلت کی
  7. یَنْظُرُوْنَوہ دیکھیں گے
  8. مِنْسے
  9. طَرْفٍنظر
  10. خَفِیٍّ ؕچھپی ہوئی
  11. وَقَالَاور کہیں گے
  12. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ جو
  13. اٰمَنُوْۤاایمان لائے
  14. اِنَّبیشک
  15. الْخٰسِرِیْنَخسارہ پانے والے
  16. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ ہیں
  17. خَسِرُوْۤاجنہوں نے خسارے میں ڈالا
  18. اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنے نفسوں کو
  19. وَاَهْلِیْهِمْاور اپنے گھروالوں کو
  20. یَوْمَدن
  21. الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕقیامت کے
  22. اَلَاۤخبردار
  23. اِنَّبیشک
  24. الظّٰلِمِیْنَظالم لوگ
  25. فِیْمیں
  26. عَذَابٍعذاب (میں) ہوں گے
  27. مُّقِیْمٍدائمی

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور تم دیکھوں گے کہ یہ جہنّم کے سامنے جب لائے جائیں گے  تو ذلّت کے مارے جُھکے جا رہے ہوں گے اور اُس کو نظر بچا بچا کر کن اَنکھیوں سے دیکھیں گے۔1 اُس وقت وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے تھے کہیں گے کہ واقعی اصل زیاں کار وہی ہیں جنہوں نے آج قیامت کے دن اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے متعلّقین کو خسارے میں ڈال دیا ہے۔ خبر دار رہو، ظالم لوگ مستقل عذاب میں ہوں  گے

  1.  انسان کا قاعدہ ہے کہ جب کوئی ہولناک منظر اس کے سامنے ہوتا ہے اور وہ جان رہا ہوتا ہے کہ عنقریب وہ اس بلا کے چنگل میں آنے والا ہے جو سامنے نظر  آ رہی ہے ، تو پہلے تو ڈر کے مارے وہ آنکھیں بند کر لیتا ہے۔ پھر اس سے رہا نہیں جاتا۔دیکھنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے کہ وہ بلا کیسی ہے اور ابھی اس سے کتنی دور ہے۔ لیکن اس کی بھی ہمت نہیں پڑتی کہ سر اٹھا کر نگاہ بھر کر اسے دیکھے۔ اس لیے بار بار ذرا سے آنکھیں کھول کر اسے گوشہ چشم سے دیکھتا ہے اور پھر ڈر کے مارے آنکھیں بند کر لیتا ہے۔ جہنم کی طرف جانے والوں کی اسی کیفیت کا نقشہ اس آیت میں کھینچا گیا ہے۔
