Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو بڑے بڑے گناہوں اور بے حیائی کے کاموں سے پرہیز کرتے ہیں1 اور اگر غصّہ آجائے تو درگزر کر جاتے ہیں،2

  2.  یعنی وہ  غصیل اور جھلّے نہیں ہوتے ، بلکہ نرم خو اور دھیمے مزاج کے لوگ ہوتے ہیں۔ ان کی سرشت انتقامی نہیں ہوتی بلکہ وہ بندگان خدا سے در گزر اور چشم پوشی کا معاملہ کرتے ہیں ، اور کسی بات پر غصہ آ بھی جاتا ہے تو اسے پی جاتے ہیں۔ یہ وصف انسان کی بہترین صفات میں سے ہے جسے قرآن مجید میں نہایت قابل تعریف قرار دیا گیا ہے (آل عمران ، آیت 134) اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی کامیابی کے بڑے اسباب میں شمار کیا گیا ہے۔ (آل عمران، 159)۔ حدیث میں حضرت عائشہؓ کا بیان ہے کہ : مآ انتقم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم لنفسہٖ فی شئ قط الا ان تنتھک حرمَۃ اللہِ (بخاری و مسلم )۔ ‘‘ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے کبھی اپنی ذات کے لیے انتقام نہیں لیا۔ البتہ جب اللہ کی حرمتوں میں سے کسی حرمت کی ہتک  کی جاتی تب آپ سزا دیتے تھے۔’’
