  2. الَّذِیْاللہ وہ ذات ہے
  3. یَقْبَلُجو قبول کرتا ہے
  4. التَّوْبَةَتوبہ کو
  5. عَنْسے
  6. عِبَادِهٖاپنے بندو ں
  7. وَیَعْفُوْااور درگزر کرتا ہے
  8. عَنِسے
  9. السَّیِّاٰتِبرائیوں
  10. وَیَعْلَمُاور وہ جانتا ہے
  11. مَاجو
  12. تَفْعَلُوْنَتم کرتے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہی ہے جو اپنے بندوں سے توبہ قبول کرتا ہے اور بُرائیوں سے درگزر کرتا ہے، حالانکہ تم لوگوں کے سب افعال کا اُسے علم ہے۔1

  1.  پچھلی آیت کے معاً بعد توبہ کی ترغیب دینے سے خود بخود یہ مضمون نکلتا ہے کہ ظالمو، سچے نبی پر یہ جھوٹے الزامات رکھ کر کیوں اپنے آپ کو اور زیادہ خدا کے عذاب کا مستحق بناتے ہو، اب بھی اپنی ان حرکتوں سے باز  آ جاؤ  اور توبہ کر لو تو اللہ معاف فرما دے گا۔ توبہ کے ایک معنی یہ ہیں کہ آدمی اپنے کیے پر نادم ہو، جس برائی کا وہ مرتکب ہوا ہے  یا ہوتا رہا ہے اس سے باز آ جائے، اور آئندہ اس کا ارتکاب نہ کرے۔ نیز یہ بھی سچی توبہ کا لازمی تقاضا ہے کہ جو برائی کسی شخص نے پہلے کی ہے اس کی تلافی کرنے کی وہ اپنی حد تک پوری کوشش کرے ، اور جہاں تلافی کی کوئی صورت ممکن نہ ہو، وہاں اللہ سے معافی مانگے اور زیادہ سے زیادہ نیکیاں کر کے اس دھبے کو دھوتا رہے جو اس نے اپنے دامن پر لگا لیا ہے۔ لیکن کوئی توبہ اس وقت تک حقیقی توبہ نہیں ہے جب تک کہ وہ اللہ کو راضی کرنے کی نیت سے نہ ہو۔ کسی دوسری وجہ یا غرض سے کسی برے فعل کو چھوڑ دینا سرے سے توبہ کی تعریف ہی میں نہیں آتا۔

اور وہی ہے کہ جو اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول فرماتا ہے اور ان کی بہت سی برائیوں سے درگزر کرتا ہے اور وہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو۔

آیت 25 { وَہُوَ الَّذِیْ یَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَۃَ عَنْ عِبَادِہٖ وَیَعْفُوْا عَنِ السَّیِّاٰتِ وَیَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُوْن } ”اور وہی ہے کہ جو اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول فرماتا ہے اور ان کی بہت سی برائیوں سے درگزر کرتا ہے اور وہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو۔“
