  1. یَسْتَعْجِلُجلدی مانگتے ہیں
  2. بِهَااس کو
  3. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  4. لَانہیں
  5. یُؤْمِنُوْنَجو ایمان لاتے
  6. بِهَا ۚاس پر
  7. وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
  8. اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے
  9. مُشْفِقُوْنَڈرنے والے ہیں
  10. مِنْهَا ۙاس سے
  11. وَیَعْلَمُوْنَاور وہ علم رکھتے ہیں
  12. اَنَّهَاکہ بیشک وہ
  13. الْحَقُّ ؕحق ہے
  14. اَلَاۤخبردار
  15. اِنَّبیشک
  16. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  17. یُمَارُوْنَجو بحثین کرتے ہیں۔ جھگڑتے ہیں
  18. فِیمیں
  19. السَّاعَةِقیامت کے بارے
  20. لَفِیْالبتہ میں ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو لوگ اس کے آنے پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے وہ تو اس کے لیے جلدی مچاتے ہیں، مگر جو اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ اس سے ڈرتے ہیں اور جانتے ہیں کہ یقیناً وہ آنے والی ہے خوب سن لو، جو لوگ اُس گھڑی کے آنے میں شک ڈالنے والی بحثیں کرتے ہیں وہ گمراہی میں بہت دور نکل گئے ہیں

Bayan-ul-Quran

اس (قیامت) کے لیے جلدی تو وہی مچا رہے ہیں جو اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے۔ اور جو لوگ ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ تو اس سے لرزاں و ترساں رہتے ہیں اور وہ جانتے ہیں کہ وہ حق ہے۔ آگاہ ہو جائو جو لوگ قیامت کے بارے میں جھگڑتے ہیں وہ بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں پڑچکے ہیں۔

Commentary

آیت 18 { یَسْتَعْجِلُ بِہَا الَّذِیْنَ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِہَا } ”اس قیامت کے لیے جلدی تو وہی مچا رہے ہیں جو اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے۔“ { وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مُشْفِقُوْنَ مِنْہَا وَیَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّہَا الْحَقُّ } ”اور جو لوگ ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ تو اس سے لرزاں و ترساں رہتے ہیں اور وہ جانتے ہیں کہ وہ حق ہے۔“ قیامت کے تصور سے اللہ کے مقرب بندوں کے خوف کی کیفیت کا ذکر سورة النور میں یوں آیا ہے : { یَخَافُوْنَ یَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِیْہِ الْقُلُوْبُ وَالْاَبْصَارُ۔ } ”وہ لرزاں و ترساں رہتے ہیں اس دن کے تصور سے جس دن الٹ جائیں گے دل اور نگاہیں۔“ { اَلَآ اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یُمَارُوْنَ فِی السَّاعَۃِ لَفِیْ ضَلٰلٍم بَعِیْدٍ } ”آگاہ ہو جائو جو لوگ قیامت کے بارے میں جھگڑتے ہیں ‘ وہ بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں پڑچکے ہیں۔“
