  1. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  2. لَاجو نہیں
  3. یُؤْتُوْنَادا کرتے
  4. الزَّكٰوةَزکوۃ
  5. وَهُمْاور وہ
  6. بِالْاٰخِرَةِآخرت کے ساتھ
  7. هُمْوہ
  8. كٰفِرُوْنَانکاری ہیں

جو زکوٰة نہیں دیتے1 اور آخرت کے منکر ہیں

  1.  یہاں زکوٰۃ کے معنی میں مفسرین کے درمیان اختلاف ہے۔ ابن عباس اور ان کے جلیل القدر شاگرد عکرمہ اور مجاہد کہتے ہیں کہ اس مقام پر زکوٰۃ سے مراد وہ پاکیزگی نفس ہے جو توحید کے عقیدے اور اللہ کی اطاعت سے حاصل ہوتی ہے۔ اس تفسیر کے لحاظ سے آیت کا ترجمہ یہ ہو گا کہ  تباہی ہے ان مشرکین کے لیے جو پاکیزگی اختیار نہیں کرتے۔ دوسرا گروہ جس میں قتادہ، سُدی، حسن بصری، ضحاک، مُقاتل اور ابن السائب جیسے مفسرین شامل ہیں ، اس لفظ کو یہاں بھی زکوٰۃ  مال ہی کے معنی میں لیتا ہے۔ اس تفسیر کے لحاظ سے آیت کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ تباہی ہے ان لوگوں کے لیے جو شرک کر کے خدا کا اور زکوٰۃ نہ دے کر بندوں کا حق مارتے ہیں ۔
